Stop the squealing in my dryer!
My dryer was making a loud squealing noise even after I changed the drum belt and the rollers. I purchased this pulley thinking that this was the problem. To my surprise, once I put it on the squealing stopped and my dryer is running perfectly. It installed quick and easy and my laundry room is quiet again.

Perfect fit for Maytag bravos

Worked ok for a year and a half
I replaced a broken pulley with this one in Nov 2021. Around a month ago (Apr 2023) the dryer started squealing again and the pulley fell apart a few weeks later. Easy and cheap to replace, but would be nice if it lasted a bit longer.

Fantastic Quality and Got the Job Done
Wheel is slightly larger in diameter than the original factory part; however, the size difference is so small it's negligible to the normal operation of the dryer. Initially, the bushing proved to be a tighter fit to get onto the spindle, but once past the groove for the plastic fastener, it spun without significant resistance. Additionally, I expect the original factory part may have also fit as snugly but became worn down with time. I added a couple drops of machine oil to increase the life of the bushing, but this is optional as the part spun smoothly out of the box. On the matter of quality, the pulley seemed to be of a higher quality plastic and was of a sturdier construction than the original part which was much appreciated.For those of you debating on just oiling the original factory part, I recommend spending the 5 bucks to get a new part. 3 times I cleaned and oiled the bushing on the old original factory pulley, and the squeaking returned each time. Replacing the pulley did the trick though!

Poor Quality Control.
Despite comments and various poor reviews I thought I would take a chance on this product. "It wasFriday when my Whirlpool Duet Stream dryer started squeaking. Amazon delivered in one day so why not?After disassembling my dryer to install this part, like others I discovered it would not fit. The bushing in the pulley was too small by several thousands of an inch and refused to fit. In desperation I used a half inch drill bit and carefully removed a few thousands of an inch of material and it slipped on. I reassembled everything and it worked with no squeak. However the quality control is poor, the material of the bushing is not the same as the original, and based on other reviews I don't expect it to last. I will be ordering the OEM whirlpool part and be ready when this part fails.
