This bracket is specially designed to work with the Mini Cooper (BMW) 2001-2012 models . Designed and built by Mini owner and drivers.This is the perfect way to mount your fire extinguisher.The kit installs in minutes. So it can be in for those track days and then removed easily if desired for the street.The kit is professionally laser cut and finished with a brushed natural finish or anodized black.The kit includes One CNC T6-6061 high quality aircraft grade aluminum bracket and four stainless steel screws to secure the extinguisher to the bracket.(does not include fire extinguisher and clamp) Simple installation. There are no special tools required No modification needed. Kit mounts to, the front seat rails existing mounting holes and uses the stock seat bolts. Installs in less than 10 min. Note, the 1.5lb extinguisher fits perfectly centered and clears all seat handles and seat. Larger extinguishers may fit but would restrict seat movement. This bracket is our original design (Rev2) with two mounting tabs for the seat and longer bracket for more seat movement. Fire extinguisher may limit forward seat movement sligthly when in bracket. To move the seat completely forward simply pop the extinguisher out of the bracket and move seat, then replace. The bracket does not interfere with the seat movent, only the extinguisher will impeade movement.
