Great stove, metal doesn't seem to be getting any. rust.
This stove is great. Sometimes I wish it got a little bit more air in from the bottom, however, I've been cooking steaks on this stove using chucks of wood, and I couldn't be more happy. It does a great job getting a good char, without much soot or dirty smoke if you let the wood burn down a bit. I would definitely buy it again. If you're gonna buy this for cooking, definitely get one of the bigger ones (mine is 9.8 x 8.7 and barely big enough) because you need that wide mouth or your steak won't fit on it, leaving the tips raw. I've just been using sticks and wood scraps from by firewood pile. This burns solid, but you might want a poker to clear the ashes from the holes at the bottom of the burn pit occasionally. After a while, they build up and the burn slows down accordingly.

Small Size, Big Campfire Vibes
This fire pit exceeded my expectations, especially on a recent camping trip. It’s compact and easy to pack, but still puts out a strong, steady flame that added a ton of warmth and ambiance to our campsite.

$20 Well Spent – This Mini Fire Pit ACTUALLY Delivers Heat!
I've seen these trendy "smokeless" mini fire pits all over social media and honestly expected more aesthetic than function for twenty bucks. I was wrong – this thing actually works. Real-World Testing: Legit Heat Output – Here's the test that sold me: three of us sitting around the patio table on a night in the low 30s. This little fire pit made ALL the difference. We stayed outside way longer than expected because we were genuinely warm, not just pretending to be. Beautiful Flame – Once it gets going, the flame is mesmerizing. That secondary burn you see in the videos? It's real, and it's satisfying to watch. Minimal Smoke - Only time it smokes is if i am adding more pellets if the flame was getting low already. If you blow on it, it will reignite and smoke will clear. Versatile Fuel Options – I've been using wood pellets with a firestarter or torch to get it going, but it handles regular wood too. Pellets are convenient and burn clean. Long Burn Time – I've used this 6-7 times over the past three weeks, running it 2+ hours each session with no issues. Easy Cleanup – Dump the ashes, quick wipe, done. No hassle. No Runaway Embers – Even with a light breeze, I haven't had embers blowing around. Huge plus for patio/deck use. One Note: ⚠️ I thought it included a middle cap/grate for keeping pellets centered – it didn't. May have misread the listing, so double-check if that's something you need. Hasn't affected performance for me. The Bottom Line: For $20, this punches way above its weight. Warmth, ambiance, portability, and easy maintenance – it checks every box. Perfect for: Patio hangs, small gatherings, camping, or anyone who wants fire pit vibes without the full fire pit commitment. Would I repurchase? Don't need to – this one's still going strong.

Perfect size
Use pellets or small wood pieces. I did't see directions and didn't order pellets since I live among the trees. But I stupidly used fatwood - BIG mistake. Smoke billowed out and turned the stainless steel black. It's cleanable, no big deal. Lesson learned. When used properly, it's great! Using mine on a small, glass tabletop, no issues. If using wood you do need to feed it quite often. I imagine pellets would make for a longer fire. It's exactly what I needed for my little, uncovered porch.

Fantastic product.
Love love love it. Bought it because I don’t always want to use my bigger fire pit. The fire burns like crazy in this thing. I use pellets to start and then add small logs (split). This has great air flow and the flames easily reach a foot above the top of it. Great product.

Works as expected and is a great value. Does burn through wood quickly.
Tabletop fire pit works very well. It takes about 5 minutes to get the fire started. I used wood chips and they burned very evenly. Once the fire gets going the wood does burn quickly. Once I was done, it took about 30 minutes to be completely cool.

Small pit, big flame!
Have low expectations on perfection of the item, it’s only $20. It does the trick of hearing a small space and would work well on table surface (stating the obvious that it should ALWAYS be an outside table). I used old wood 2x4 building blocks my kids no longer play with and cut to 1/4 x 4 pieces. Four pieces provided about 20 mins of heat and it burns hot and fast, like the biblical fire column that lead Israel in the wilderness (see pics/video). Haven’t yet tried roasting mallows on it, but it seems it would work well for that and give enough time for it to cool so you can out it away and not have to wait for an hour like a larger fire. It does burn nearly gone with very few bits of coals left over, so very little water is needed to make sure it’s completely out. You could just let it burn out without water if you want, but don’t leave it unattended or Smokey is gonna come beat you down with his shovel if you start a forest on fire. Extremely lightweight and portable and perfect for teaching kids about fire safely; mine loved being able to start and tend one themselves (with supervision of course, ALWAYS!). Instruction manual was for completely different pit than what I bought, but it’s pretty obvious how it assembles even without the manual; if you can’t figure it out, you shouldn’t be using it honestly. Mine was missing the little cup screen for the inside that you’d use with pellets instead of wood pieces, but it seems like it’d still work with pellets without that. It’s also not truly a smokeless fire, but I would say the amount of smoke is greatly reduced compared to an open pit (you will still smell like you were next to a campfire after using, but not as strong of a smell). Overall, for the money, it’s a good little product. Be aware, the rim and inner ash screen will discolor due to chromium in the steel and high heat of low grade steel used in manufacturing, but it doesn’t impact use of pit. Three stars because I was missing piece, willing to adjust if seller wants to send me missing piece.
