I wanted to try this since it's slightly different from the other antiperspirant solids out there. Instead of a regular solid, this is a "soft solid." Thanks to this softer material and the click knob that carefully controls output, it goes on your underarms cleanly. Very little, if any residue gets left and I haven't gotten any staining on my shirts while using this. This stuff smells awesome, and both the odor and sweat control lasts ALL DAY long. For best results, I highly recommend applying this stuff right before you go to bed. Letting this stuff settle into your underarms overnight (or while you sleep) will allow for better plugging of the sweat pores. In addition, I haven't gotten any irritation or weird reactions after a month of using this stuff daily. If I had to nitpick one thing I don't like about it, it's the value. While I saved some money thanks to a coupon here on Amazon, I don't like how 1 stick is $8 and you only get 2.6oz. To be fair, the amount of product is on par with many of their other sticks which also have 2.6oz. However, there's other similar products that are cheaper and have more in each stick. Despite that minor gripe, I love this antiperspirant and would definitely buy it again. If you want all-day protection, great smells, and zero stains, then this works great!

I purchased this on a whim. I'm a chronic illness sufferer and I have many allergies, and a disorder called MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity). Many deodorants I used over the years were suddenly leaving my armpits with painful, itchy rashes and sores! One of the few Clinical Strength Deodorants that wasn't causing these terrible rashes has gotten significantly more expensive in recent years. It was getting harder and harder to both find and afford safe deodorant! This Old Spice Sweat Defense was recommended to me, and the sale price was a fraction of what I was paying for my usual Deodorant. I figured it was a long shot, but for the price, it was a gamble I was willing to take! And I'm glad I did! Despite so many Deodorants causing painful reactions on my skin, this one has been working great! It works just as well as the Clinical Strength Deodorant I was using, perhaps even better, despite having 1% less Aluminum content than the Dove Clinical Strength that I was using! And whatever moisturizers they use, its been keeping my armpit skin happy and stink free! Its not leaving stains on my shirts either. And for a fraction of the price, it's 1oz. larger than the Dove I was buying. The smell is very pleasant and mild. I really dont like strong fragrances, so this was another welcomed surprise. Honestly this stuff has been a Godsend.

I've been using this for many years and the number of facings at retail continues to shrink - I just hope its not discontinued. Occasionally I've tried other antiperspirants and never found one that is as "invisible" as this one is - I apply it, it works, and I really don't know its there (i.e not sticky, tacky, wet etc...)

It’s effective as an antiperspirant, but the fragrance isn’t my favorite. If you apply per the instructions (at night before bed), residue is minimal and is still effective in keeping you smelling fresh.

This has always been the best deodorant for me. Blocks sweat and smells great.
