Reading reviews, it appears as though some have gotten a timer with separate programming for weekends, and some have not. Which is it?

the wh40 is a basic analog timer that has not changed for decades except for the on/off lever extending thru the cover. This timer does not have separate weekend settings.

After installation I find that the timer doesn't work? The wiring is correct as the box on/off switch works fine manually.HELP!

I"m having the same problem. I have a black solid wire and a red braided wire from the breaker. A black solid wire, red braided wire, and a green neutral wire from the pump. I hooked up black from breaker to 1 on the timer and red from breaker to 3. I hooked up black from pump to 2 and red to 4 and neutral wire to the neutral screw on the timer. Pump works when flip manually switch. When on I can see a little gear turning when I look through the hole that's near the top right corner of the timer dial (behind it). I swapped line 1 w/ 3 same problem. I swapped line 2 w/ 4 same problem. Do I have a bad timer or am I missing something?

Can you use as a pool pump timer?

if your pool pump motor is 240 v and the box is not out in the weather most likely it will work.But to be sure you need to Check with your local electrician as to codes in your area when you are working with pools,water and electric. safety first.
