This fan turned out to look bigger than what I pictured and it worked out great!!!! I love the way it looks in out media room. Super different and matching the funky, fun energy of the space. Definitely gives a strong wind effect too. Just in time for summer

Quiet and effective for its size

I purchased a similar listing, same brand, and looked alike. Works wonderful and easy to assemble. So, I bought this for an additional room. Unfortunately, they must have re-engineered the product as there was more assembly (to my recollection) but worse, it was missing the assembly screws and tools making this fan unusable. Returned.

My room is small. This fan really cools the whole room. I don't need my A.C on. This is perfect. Light is a little dimed, but not bad at all. Great value.

I have a nice place to sit outdoors under a gazebo, but I find it a bit too hot to use much during the summer months. I thought I should try an outdoor ceiling fan to see if that would improve the conditions. When I had the chance to try the Consciot Low Profile Ceiling Fan With Light and Remote, I didn’t expect too much based on the price point. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. UNBOXING: The fan and components were nicely packed with everything present. I liked that the blades were a plastic since I have found plastic blades tend to be better balanced than the wooden ones. I liked that the manufacturer included two different sizes of downrods. INSTALLATION: I installed my fan to the metal ceiling of the gazebo using a waterproof electrical box affixed with Nutserts. This provided a safe and secure mount for the fan. I ran a cable across the ceiling and down to a post with a switch box. I am using a portable electric “generator” as a power supply. The fan components all fit perfectly and I especially liked that the fan connections to the remote controller used a plug versus wire nuts. For my installation, I used the longer downrod to provide clearance to the ceiling line. USE: Once wired, the fan performed so much better than expected. The remote functioned without a hitch. The light was nice and bright at the full setting and dimmed to a more subdued light. The six fan speeds were more than adequate to move the air around my 10-foot by 12-foot gazebo. The remote also has timer settings, however I have not used that feature. The DC (direct current) motor is whisper-quiet and does not draw down my generator to any great degree. The fan blades were perfectly balanced so the fan had no wobble. The fan can reverse as well, but that is a feature I probably won’t use outdoors. IMPRESSIONS: The movement of air provided by the fan absolutely changed the usability of my gazebo. Even when the temperature approaches 100 degrees, the air movement made relaxing there possible. In the evening when the breezes tend to subside, a low setting on the fan makes the seating area very pleasant. The light provides enough illumination for reading. I had low expectations for the Consciot fan, but I am happy to give this a 5-star rating.

Small enough and can be turned upward for use in tiny (gas) kitchen

It doesn’t come with any instructions at all. Highly disappointed in this company. Many small pieces to figure out. Never again.They wouldn’t let me cancel the order even before it shipped. The remote control module doesn’t even fit under the fan housing. Stupid design.

First matter of business, I need to apologize to the vendor for not reviewing this 52 inch ceiling fan in a more timely manner as I ordered it almost 6 weeks ago. Part of the problem was having my electrician installer cancelling twice on coming over to install it. But I did have some assistance from my next door neighbor to eventually install this wonderful fan. In hindsight this was actually a VERY EASY ceiling fan to install. NOTE: always cut the electrical power to the location through your fuse/breaker panel. What makes the installation SO EASY was the included mounting bracket that attaches to the ceiling light box opening in the ceiling. That was incredibly easy to mount or attach to the electrical box in the ceiling. That procedure alone took less than 3 minutes, phew. THAT mounting bracket is KEY to a quick and proper mounted ceiling fan. This included mounting bracket had a small welded hook attached to the inside of the mounting bracket, that once the mounting bracket is firmly attached it lets you "hang" the main body of the fan to it without having to have someone hold it in place while you doing the wiring portion of the install. That feature alone was "worth the price of admission" alone. How darn easy it makes the whole installation procedure. While the heaviest part of the main fan is suspended , or hooked to the mounting bracket, you can easily and comfortably attach all the wires together and use the included wire caps. Once the wiring is done you easily lift or push the main body up and finish securely attaching it to the mounting bracket. I can't stress enough how this simple 'hook' that attaches to the mounting box makes this installation go. This hook hold the weighted main body/motor so you don't have to. GENIUS. Next, the long blades, which conveniently comes in reversible color choice for your individual color matching selection is another GENIUS idea. I chose to have the white blade color pointed downward. Or I could have chosen to flip the blades over to expose the tan color to show. How cool is that, you get to select from TWO colors of the blades. I suppose you could vary the blades as white, then tan, then white, then tan....your choice, but I selected all white blades. But how does it work and perform, you ask? You can operate this fan from EITHER the wall switch or the more feature laden remote that is paired from the factory. No need to configure or set up anything, the remote is ready to work as soon as you put the not-included batteries in the remote. The printed icons on the remote instruct you what and where to select for your comfort levels, which are speed of blade movement, direction of movement, and brightness intensity...all from a small remote. BTW, the kit does include a wall mount for the remote so you can easily store and find it. All in all, VERY IMPRESSED. The fan is whisper quiet, looks great, the price is affordable, and is oh-so easy to install. I EASILY give this ceiling fan 5 STARS.
