Perfect for Oogie
I learned something new after using this paint. Glow in the dark paint, or anything glow in the dark, does NOT glow or charge with LED black lights. That's no fault of the paint, that's just science I learned the hard way. I had to find incandescent and CFL blacklight bulbs as I wanted Oogie Boogie to glow all night and his neon paint to glow. The sun will charge this paint as well but I never tested how long the glow would stay charged in that situation. The paint was in a bigger bottle than expected and went a long way. I didn't use all the bottle on him so I had some leftover for other Halloween creatures. The paint is a little odorous when you're covering that much surface so open a window or run a fan. The first 2 pictures he's glowing under 2 CFL blacklight bulbs. The 3rd picture is the bulbs turned off showing what the charged glow looks like and the 4th is him just in daylight. You can't see the paint on him in the daytime which is what I wanted and why I didn't just paint him neon green. His cloth is a painter's drop cloth so it's a light tan/cream color so I can't attest to if the paint would be visible on a white surface or not. Super pleased with the product. I got a lot of compliments on Halloween.

Not as bad as people make it seem
Alright yes, you have to lay it on kind of thick for the glow to really take effect. And yes, the glow doesn't last a terribly long time even when it's sat out in the sun all day. But in defense, it is an amazing glow when it's glowing and since the paint has an almost glue like viscosity it's really really easy to put on a single good thick layer that works well. I'm super pleased, love using it, and everything I've painted with it has been amazing. Would 5/5 recommend to anyone in need of glow paint. And yes, it does slightly miscolor when applied, it does not dry clear or white. But I never expected it to.

Some TLC required
This paint will glow in the dark, it just needs lots of layers and to really be charged by a UV light. Basically it needs some TLC to get it to glow the way you want it to.

NOPE, NO WAY NO HOW DOES THIS GLOW IN THE DARK. PLUS IT DOESNT COVER WORTH 💩
This is advertised as FolkArt glow in the dark acrylic paint, 8 oz, neutral 8 fl oz after 8 coats the last one I literally dipped the brush and dripped it on. Still did not cover I bought acrylic brush’s so that was not the problem. This does not dry to a smooth finish as advertised. “GLOWING FINISH - This brilliant acrylic paint dries to a smooth finish - perfect for adding a pop of glowing color to all your DIY projects. Simply place your project in light to charge”. Defiantly not for use on multiple surfaces –as advertised” use this bright acrylic paint on a variety of surfaces such as Wood, Paper, Canvas, Styrofoam, Paper Mache, And So Much More” I was using it to make a glow in the dark fishing rod which is made of fiberglass. These are the steps I took to prep before I painted. I first cleaned the rod with acid tone, then Using 1500 Grit Sandpaper to ruff up the coating on the fishing rod. Then again I cleaned with acid tone. I then let it dry overnight which was not necessary since acid tone evaporates fast than you can clean a large section. When I saw that even after 8 coats I thought it was because of what I was painting, so I tried it on card board with same results. I used a 200000 Lumen flash light and tried to get it to glow in the dark 15 minutes of holding the flash light on the paint there was not even a hint of glowing in the dark. I don’t understand all the positive feedback for this product I would not recommend it. Unfortunately I can’t return because I opened and use some. I also included a photograph of one coat on card board.

Works alright
It really needs a lot of light to get it to glow. Painted in my boys room on some mural paintings to glow at night. Did around 2-3 coats on the dinosaur murals but it never would glow. Found out one night that we left the light on all night that it did glow the next night after a full 24 hours on. Still dull. I think if you aren't using it for a wall, or maybe use with a black light it will do great. The cost, use, and concept was great. Just didn't work for what we wanted as well as we hoped.
