Landrover Explore 64GB black [5" FHD-Display, Android Nougat, 2.6GHz Deca-Core, 16MP Kamera]

Ok, overall the Explore is pretty good, its robust, I have dropped it deliberately from waist height onto a carpet and it was fine. The battery life is excellent, especially with the adventure pack attached. The accuracy of the GPS with or without the adventure pack is good (the external battery contains an additional GPS antenna). But... the camera. Apart from 16 mega pixel is actually quite poor. There's very little in the way of functionality with it, and it performs quite poorly even in good lighting conditions. I also think that the model is now being wound down. All the various accessories that were supposed to be available for it - the cycle mount, the additional larger battery etc are no longer available. I got the phone at less than half the original price of the phone when it was released two years ago so I'm not complaining, but if they do bring out a newer model I hope they sort the camera out.

Great phone that I bought, mainly due to it being for the outdoors. Tested the GPS out and it works well. The battery however doesn't last. The only guidance is on land rover site, that states you have to turn just about everything off! With that bit of advice tells you that land rover are fully aware of the poor battery.Going up the hills soon and look forward to using it properly. I will however need an extra portable charger as again the battery doesn't last.However it's a decent phone in many ways. If you are not up for the battery issue, I would certainly avoid it.

I bought this mobile discounted to half price While not the best mobile on the market as an overall package with enhanced GPS and rugged construction its more than ideal for outdoor mountain work.Battery lasts over 24 hours without the additional pack. The Gps is accurate and reliable with down loadable maps and large zoomable screen navigation easy ( please do still take a map and compass)As a mobile its more than adequate while there are better mobiles for less they dont match build quality or survivability/usability in extreme conditions/environment

À good rugged smartphone, good memory size. I like the way the add on battery will charge the phoned internal battery without being plugged into the wall charger.
