Acid Reflux Alginate Therapy, Berry Burst, 10 oz Tube, 1 Pack

This really has helped with my symptoms. The Berry Burst flavor doesn't taste too bad. I didn't care for the Lemon Ginger flavor as much. It left a slight burning sensation in my throat which is where I have my most noticeable symptoms.

AMAZING DO NOT HESISTATE TO BUY! I found out about alginates years ago from a Kaiser Permanente GI Dr , at the time the only option was the gaviscon UK version but it was too expensive for me to order . Fast forward June 2026 I have been using the Flora app by Molly Pelletier a registered dietitian. She would sing praises for this for her patients and has interviews with the doctors that developed it . They are both ENT doctors out of Charlottesville Va working for UVA health . I took the plunge and ordered it ! At my follow up appointment with my new GI doctor I showed this to her she said “ oh yea vendors come sells these to us at our GI conferences you can take if you like it “ …. First I was SHOCKED if you know as a GI dr this is out there for patients why not see if your patients can take it and recommend it ?! PPIs do nothing for me make all my symptoms worse , I ended up in the emergency room April 2026 due to PPIs . My body couldn’t tolerate it . I wish I had known about this before it has really helped me ! Especially this last weekend and Monday I had to come off my sucralfate and famotidine for manometry and impedance testing. I used it all the three days off meds was the only thing that helped me ! Please try it ! Stop suffering because American doctors don’t want to recommend it! Please note when you first start using it your throat may burn a little it is not because of the alginate it is because your throat is sensitive from the acid reflux / pepsin ! After awhile it goes away and it feels soothing down your throat ! It really helps with that pain GERD/LPR gives you ! You may burp a little bit but it isn’t bothersome. I have taken it 4 times a day - no side effects like from PPIs !

I'm giving it four stars instead of five because of cost. The essential sodium alginate ingredient is low enough that two spoonfuls are required per dose for this to be effective, which means fewer doses per purchase compared to other products, and it disappears awfully fast taking 2 to 4 times per day! That said, this is by far the best tasting reflux therapy product I have tried, so if you can afford the high price I definitely would recommend it. It feels nice and soothing on the throat going down also, which is wonderful.

So far this has done the trick for my reflux, LPR. No more nighttime heartburn. I did not want to take PPIs and my reflux was not really bad.. yet.. so trying to be proactive. The Berry Blast does not have a strong taste, very mild berry taste. Consistency might be off putting to some, kinda like pudding, and I am fine with it. I just straight swallow down the teaspoon without “chewing” or any time in my mouth. After lots of reading and research, I am Glad I tried it!

Reflux Raft has been an absolute lifesaver for me when dealing with breakthrough heartburn and esophagitis. The flavor is surprisingly good, which makes it easy to take consistently. I also appreciated how simple the directions were—everything was straightforward and easy to understand. I’ve tried several products for reflux symptoms, and this is one that I continue to keep on hand because it works well when I need extra support. If you struggle with occasional breakthrough heartburn or reflux-related irritation, I definitely recommend giving Reflux Raft a try! It has made a noticeable difference for me

Im pregnant with twins, my refkux was terrible at night and getting worse. It was starting earlier and earlier in the day and it would keep me awake all night. Tums didnt work, wonder belly didnt work and I didnt want to keep taking things that messed with the pH of my gut. I started taking this right before lying down to sleep and the same day it was solved, its been several weeks now and I haven't had any reflux. Im so grateful!!!

Flavor is not the best. Wish it was in a smaller tube or individual doses. Hard to measure.

I have never tried another alginate product before so they are probably all similar in texture but this one is horrible. The taste is fine and it does do its job. No complaints there. Only about the texture. It’s like a thick vaseline almost. It’s very hard because after I swallow it all I want to do is drink some water to get the feeling out of my mouth but you can’t do that or it will break the raft. However, I understand not everyone will have issues with the texture like I do. I am sensitive to things like that. But just be warned if you are too.
