I remember watching The Green Mile for the first time and how the story made me feel for these characters, a grown man weeping like a baby how beautifully directed and written for the screen. Shawshank was a film I saw first time on dvd a month ago not knowing how great this film is. One of my favorite horror writers and one of the great movie directors/writers made two of my favorite films on Blu-ray. I had both on dvd but the Blu-ray looks so amazing together on one package. You won’t regret these movies a must own.

I purchased this outstanding duo-DVD package as a gift for my granddaughter (I already own them separately). I sincerely believe that these films are the very best produced on every level out of all the Steven King stories adapted to film.Briefly, it includes The Shawshank Redemption, starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, and tells the story of a man imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. The Green Mile, starring Tom Hanks. It tells the story of a prison guard in-charge of death row where the inmates are awaiting execution, Hanks, realizes that one of his inmates is not only innocent but has the ability to heal others. Both of these films are excellent, intelligently handled, with deep sustaining messages. Great entertainment for men or women.I bought this package used and it was in perfect shape/like new, except for the price which was reasonable. No problem with the sound or picture. Both DVD's work like new. I heartily recommend this item to anyone.
