I purchased the 40kg version. As you can see from the pictures I've uploaded, there is some pretty obvious difference in appearance when comparing to the advertised product.More to the point, these are NOT cast iron dumbbells - they are plastic, and filled with sand. They were also damaged in a number of places. The spinlock collars are plastic. The handles are plastic. The only parts of this product that are iron are the bars. The box was also completely unusable when I went to collect from delivery depot - had to take it in one of their tote bins.Very disappointing, will be requesting a return and refund.EDIT: This is a bit of a late edit, but I thought I should update it as my original 1 star review that warranted the above isn't actually very fair. I was apparently sent in error a product that was faulty and had been returned. I was sent the actual product about a week later and it's actually very good quality and true to the description and images.

I rarely write reviews but was really impressed with Nu-Fit's service.Product: The product was 100% as described and on the pictures, brand new, no scuffs, no rust, no scratches, good quality, plus there is a rubber ring in the nut which reduces risk of loosening. I have seen many nuts who don't have this feature and this small band of rubber (see image) increases friction and keeps the weights more safely in place. Better than expected. Excellent!Delivery: This is really important a) we all hate to wait a whole day at home only for the delivery not turning up and b) our neighbour 10 houses down the road normally does not appreciate being handed 50kg's of weights. Not so in this case, Nu-Fit used DPD, who delivered very quickly and texted twice prior to delivery announcing date and time to ensure I was home when they arrived. They came on time, within the one hour slot they had advised. I am sure DPD is more expensive than Yodel (who dump my orders whenever and wherever they fancy) but the extra cost is well spent as this makes it so much easier for the customer. Great focus on customer service! Excellent!Service: There was a small issue that happened while in transport. I contacted Nu-Fit who responded very quickly and sorted the issue quickly and without much back and forth. Again, great focus on customer service!Excellent!Price: Very competitive and definitely very good value for money!Thanks a lot to the Nu-Fit team. I will definitely buy from you again!!!! Pros:1) Weights are well made for the price.2) Grips/bars are comfortable.3) Spin locks are well machined (hold weights in place securely but are easy to remove when you want to).Cons:1) Black paint on plates comes off onto fabrics. Don't leave them on anything you're not willing to leave a black smear on. I'm not sure why they bother putting the paint onto it. If it's to prevent rust, I think that slightly rusted plates would be preferably to ones with paint that rubs off!

Arrived promptly, product was as described, the materials used all are all good quality as you'd hope for. The packaging it arrived in was just weak battered cardboard, but no matter.From a usability point of view adjusting them prior to every exercise is more irritating than you'd expect. However they are considerably cheaper than the alternatives like Bowflex or Powerblock so you pay your money and take your choice.The nature of the bars mean they are a bit of a spike, which makes them more dangerous to use than normal dumbbells which usually have rounded, blunt edges.I've only been using them for a couple of weeks and the rubber ring in the spinlock collars comes off on every use. I shouldn't have to be fixing something only a few weeks old.

Like a few others have mentioned the fastenings do come loose and rattle a fair bit. The weights are in no danger of coming off though and considering you’ll probably be doing sets of reps it’s no bother to retighten them during rest periods. Solidly made and good product for the price.I personally had no issues with delivery or parts missing, but the box that they use is a little on the flimsy side.

Solid and sturdy set of cast iron weights - no frills, but do the job. Haven’t had any trouble with collars coming loose and dumbbells handle safely when lifting. Delivery and packaging both excellent and weights arrived within 48 hours by courier. Overall, a good basic set of lifting irons - but can’t help feeling overcharged due to C19... that’s my only gripe.

The product is great and of sturdy design although I can’t help thinking it’s priority has been looks over usability - I received mine and whilst they allow for plenty of handspace, the bars were coated in a slippery polish/paint which made holding them almost impossible with the additional weight, especially as the grips are rather shallowly etched. Overall is great to use and is sturdy in design, would just have been great if I didn’t have to wipe them down of silver paint residue before using them and getting it everywhere

Fast delivery. Well packaged. Far better than I expected. Excellent quality, the right decision to go for metal plates as opposed to sand/water. Only issue is the time it takes to keep taking off and putting on weights for different exercises. However, this is not a problem of the product but the realistic outcome of only having one set of dumbbells and not having the many sets of dumbbells at a gym. Aside from that this is an excellent alternative for people who can't get to a gym and excellent quality from the company. Highly recommend
