These come in a robust box containing two lighters (why two?). One is a brushed aluminium-looking finish and the other in a darker gunmetal colour.They filled easily from a refill gas canister and they work well. On first use after filling they take several attempts to light (this is common with gas lighters) and then they light on second click if they've been left dormant for any time.The flame is a stong jet that won't go out in windy conditions, and somehow the colour of the flame turns red after a second. No idea how they achieve this but it's an amusing gimmick.Recommended.

This set of 2 metal flip-top refillable lighters come in a presentation box with instructions.These arrive empty so you'll need a can of butane gas to fill them up. They don't hold a lot of gas and on first use it took a few clicks to get a flame, but unlike so many others that claim to be windproof, when I blew hard on the flame it stayed lit.Brilliant! They work as described. 5 stars.

At under 6gbp each this is really good value when you are looking for a powerful butane lighter which you can use in virtually all situations. Construction is very good, in both a brushed-stainless effect and polished pewter, the design is very simple, a steel cap, steel body and visible reservoir in a thin sleek surfaced compact assembly. The joints, finish and function of the lighter have a minimal deco-styling and it gives a good, strong flame/jet when ignited- the cherry-red jet has a hypnotic effect.The jet doesn't seem affected by high winds or gusts, just getting on with supplying flame and heat-fulling was easy via the base port and the length of the flame can be modified by a small cross-headed screw at the base.I was surprised by the strength of the performance, this is a great size for outdoor activities to carry on your person, it's small enough to fit in to a pocket but strong enough to work in most conditions.

These two lighters come in a neat presentation box. They are both small but work well, once filled with lighter fluid. The chrome look with red strip and visible gas tank make them look very stylish, and the top has a sprung hinge to ensure that they can't be opened and lit by accident. The quality seems very good.The flame burns in an unusual red colour, though in bright light it's hard to see the flame, in some tests I couldn't tell if it was alight until moving it to some paper.At under £12 for the pair I think these would make a great gift for a smoker or someone that needs to light fires.

Getting two lighters of this quality for the money asked for is a complete bargain.There is no evidence of 'cost cutting' when it comes to build quality that is for sure.Very pleasing brushed metal body on both and they come in different colours. One is silver the other is a 'gunmetal' colour, and they both look awesome!The lid hinge is especially good with a nice snap due to a powerful spring.As for the burner, lights every time with a good strong flame of the jet flame sort, hence why they say it is windproof.Honestly, if there was only one lighter in the box at this price I would still give 5*.This product is THAT good!

You get 2 x windproof lighters that DONT have gas in so you need to fill them up yourself, they are very sleek and high quality and the flame is like a mini jet which is adjustable .

This is a set of two windproof lighters giftboxed, and neatly presented.These lighters are not pre-filled so arrive empty and will need filling with gas to use.Unfortunately, only the silver one works properly, and the brassy Gold one fails to hols its flame.As for the one that works, it's competently windproof, with an unusual pink coloured flame.It's different and I like it.Refillable and reusable.Its a shame about the other lighter as they do come as a set.
