I took a chance on cheap. It didn't work out for me.
10 deg F too high. It rated everything I approached as dangerous. There are no directions to adjust the base temp or to select the test range. It is a solid plastic untit with a lit display that has a dedicated on off button. I'll get a more expensive US rated tester next time, so tonight.
