does an awesome job!
my plastic siphon broke and i figured it was time to purchase a more heavy duty one. SO glad i decided on this one. it fit perfectly, arrived super quickly and was WAY easier to assemble than my plastic one. I got it working in less than 5 minutes.

Pump leaks and takes forever to prime.
Wish i could give less than one star......we purchased two of these pumps for our new performance shop back in March. Both of them are pumping 30w engine oil. The pumps have leaked since the first day we started using them. We have taken them apart and tried Teflon and thread sealant on the body of the pump to prevent the leaks, but with no success. The pump also is very difficult to prime, and since it leaks, it has to be primed every time you use it. Just a couple minutes ago it took 20+ pumps to finally get it to prime (which frustrated me enough to order two new pumps and write this review). You also can not turn the spout around (upside down) on these pumps to prevent leaking as the rubber o-ring that seals the spout will unseat and then get pumped out with the oil. So since you can not turn the spout, they leak all over the floor once you are finished using them. This is a terrible pump and i would not purchase it again, nor would i recommend anyone else purchasing them.Shawn RizzoKraken MotorsportsFort Worth, TX.
