Really good product.
It was great to find this jacket. It is very much like a light zip-up sweatshirt which is just what I required. I have always liked sweatshirts for spring and autumn and wanted to find one with a zip that was not made of fleece material (I have a tendency to build up quite a static charge if I wear fleece!). Most zip-up sweatshirts seem to come with hoods, which is not a feature I find useful. So this was perfect.

Definitely not "True to Size", at least not European sizes
I'm usually an M but put on a few pounds (10!) during lockdown. bought a size L as I wanted something easy fitting just for working from home. It's huge... it's like an XL in European sizes. Sleeves are 20cm longer than my arms (I'm 1,8 meters high), shoulders are gigantic and mine are broad.Value for money is good, once you can get your hands on the right size. Also, I like the overall weight which is on the light side so good to wear at home over a t-shirt.Tried to return it and Amazon generously said I could keep it for free. Now it's on its 3rd run through the washer/dryer to see if I can get it to shrink a bit! With my luck it'll be the only cheap cotton garment not to shrink in the wash!

Quality not so good and poor customer service
I bought two of these jackets, one burgundy and one royal blue. I have bought Fruit of the Loom products before so was confident with the brand. I also wanted lightweight so these seemed just right. Having worn them a couple of days each week for 4 weeks and washed according to maker's label, the blue one developed blotches of faded/altered colour on parts of the fabric. The burgundy one is still ok. I could only assume the blue one had a fault in the dye. I wrote to the supplier who simply said they do not refund or replace worn or washed items. I believe consumer law protects the customer where products are faulty. I will check with Amazon. It is not a large amount of money but I was disappointed with the retailer's response.

Fit for purpose
Very difficult to find a 'light summer jacket' on Amazon. All you get when you put that into the Amazon search engine is winter jacket after winter jacket. Windcheater after hoodie. Thank goodness for this. Just the thing for our summer heatwaves. I thought that it was going to be too big at X-Large but it's just right for me at six foot and not much of an old age paunch. Getting something that even fits properly is difficult enough. Thank goodness for this.

Just the ticket
Just what I was looking. It isn't a cardigan but as cosy as one. At the moment my usual fleece is still to warm to wear with these colder nights drawing in.. I ordered a bigger size than usual, as from past experience "Fruit of the Loom" has been on the smaller side. Quick Service, great price. Will buy again!

Exceptionally poor quality
I would suggest the item I received is perhaps fake.Material is horrible to touch, very cheaply made, very thin material with a very open weave and yet the item is strangely heavy!Overall the worst item of clothing I've handled in many years, unfortunately and I've had my fair share of rubbish whilst seeking new clothing suppliers for my business. This item was definitely poor cottage industry quality.

Initial impression not good
Bought this top for my disabled husband as a change from cardigans. Looks like it has been in the wash already, although the colour is lovely, the fabric looks worn out. It won’t ever look smart as I had expected. Can’t imagine what it will look like after being washed every wear.

Fruit of the Loom, dropping standards.
As expected at this price it's very thin, unlike older versions where the material was more cotton than nylon. Seems they have lost their way.Fruit of the loom is dropping standards. The fabric also has started to bobble after only a few wears. You get what you pay for.
