The best powder foundation ever, wish they'd bring it back. Makes your skin look incredible, but natural. Really soft focus, smoothing and great buildable coverage.

*OK.... I have persevered with the application without adaption. I have found that if you place the head of your brush in the container and twizzle / turn the brush between your fingers while pressing down firmly and holding the pot in your other hand, you get a decent amount on the brush. It's just a matter of getting used to it. It's still a pain to have to have a separate brush in your bag - but I'll cope because the foundation is worth it. I love this foundation and have been using loreal mineral powder foundations for many years. They mark the point of my oily, spot prone skin starting to improve dramatically to a point where I rarely get any blemishes. I credit the foundation with being a huge part of this. However, this new brush free container is a nightmare. I don't mind using my own brush, but it is really hard to get the powder on the brush due to the nylon stocking type of fabric that covers it. It's supposed to stop you overloading the brush - but actually makes it almost impossible to get any on it. I can see myself having to remove it and tipping a little out to swirl my brush in. I'll still buy this as I owe my relatively flawless skin (at 64) to it - but I will have to adapt the application to make it less frustrating. It still got 5 stars from me because the option I have an issue with is not offered.

I've got to be honest, I've never tried mineral foundation before and I haven't tried L'Oreal's old version of this product so I can't compare this to the old formula or any similar products. Despite this, the product goes on really quickly and looks natural, so I imagine this would be great in summer when you don't want to wear anything heavy, or when you may need to reapply the product throughout the day. It's definitely a light coverage foundation, but I expected that as it's a mineral powder, but I've heard you can build the product up in layers for more full coverage or even use it over the top of something else, like a BB cream, for better coverage although I haven't tried this myself yet. The packaging is nice and feels high-quality and the dip where you put your brush in is the perfect size for most standard brushes (i've tried a few of my powder brushes in different sizes and a real techniques buffing brush and they all fit just fine), plus this dip means the product doesn't get everywhere when trying to get it on the brush. The mesh that that covers the product is very elastic (it reminds me of the elastic cotton material used in fishnet tights) and means you can push the mesh down with your brush to pick up the product at the bottom of the container rather than trying to tap it out into the lid as you might do with other powders. Overall, the product lasts really well on the skin, the packaging is nice, and I'm happy with the product.

I love this foundation for summer. I am blessed with olive skin & the darker shade makes my face have a sun kissed look. It’s feels like on my skin & is very easy to apply with a brush. I’m not sure this would give enough coverage if you had scarred skin but I have used it over concealer and it covered fine, you couldn’t see the concealer underneath. Also, the design of the packaging means it’s hard to put an excessive amount on your brush.

I’ve got oily skin and I’ve been using this for many years on its own because cream or liquid foundations cause breakouts and slide off my skin during the day. It’s got good coverage and I rarely have to use concealer. Doesn’t feel heavy.

If your looking for something natural looking and something to give you a smoother look, then this is the stuff for you! But if your wanting something with some coverage then it definitely isn’t. I hate that this doesn’t really build up because it is so nice to wear. You get such a nice and even colour from it it’s gorgeous. But, you don’t get any coverage which I need when my skin flairs up and I like to be able to see that I have make up on sometimes too. Also, another reason I give it 3 stars is because you get soooo little for the price!! Like the lid is bigger then what you get! When you take the lid off the jar even scoops down so there’s even less in it then it seems too.

Buy the matching brush!!! I guess Loreal selling the brush separately means when you need to rebuy you're not buying those brushes attached to the pot all the time, and hence a slightly cheaper price. Although the colour looks a bit peachy, when on it gives exactly (imo) the same colour as the liquid foundation in the same colour (2c) - even though they look completely different. Pleased with the coverage. Am using this as a lighter product to wear on its own.

Tolles Produkt zur gewohnten Qualität! Da es leider schon länger nicht mehr hergestellt wird, ist es nicht mehr in der Drogerie vor Ort zu bekommen - nur noch online, und genau diese Farbe ist überall ausverkauft. Mit den Versandkosten lohnt es sich definitiv mehrere zu kaufen. Versand dauerte insgesamt etwa 8 Tage.
