Can you have music folders on the Sd card with songs in them where the folders are selectable?

My song's on my SD card can play in shuffle mode ,can play by folders and in the order that they were recorded in.

Does this only run on batteries? Can it run on on an AC outlet?

It uses 5 volts from a mini USB connection, like a cell phone. So, if you plug a little USB adapter into an electrical outlet and use the supplied cord, it will work. By the way, it is a very nice item.
