Staedtler Textsurfer Dry Pencil - Yellow (Box of 12)

So I got these funky pencils for my artwork....I did note the complaints about breakage. Sadly mine too were breaking, even with a brand new Staedler Tub sharpener.Anyway, if you find them breaking, COOK EM! So I tried it with 1 pencil and it worked so did the rest inside the box.Put box or pencil into a cold air fryer or oven. And set temperature to NO MORE than 120 celcius. Heat for 10 mins, then leave them to cool back to room temperature.I did mine at 115c for 8mins. And so far on my original pencil, I have had only one small breakage, whereas before I had to keep resharpening 2 or 3 times as it kept breaking everytime I tried to sharpen it.It sharpens to a lovely point now and seems to have worked like a charm. It works by resealing any cracks within the colour strip inside the wooden barrel. I can't attest to the other 11 pencils yet, so so far so good!

So much better than markers. Quality leads. Definitely buy again.

I was really pleased when I discovered these. They do not smudge, nor bleed through pages, nor make paper thin or 'bubbled' up with moisture on thin paper BUT contrary to what I thought, these pencils do not last as long as a pen highlighter. You have to sharpen them very frequently and it is amazing just how quickly these pencils shrink. The cost of these, and how quickly with sharpening that the pencil disappears to a stub, makes them a very expensive way of highlighting, so yes ingenious but you initially are conditioned to think, they being no ink, they will last a longtime but opposite is true. Plus a box of yellow ones (far away the best colour) I close to £15, so Id love to always switch over to using them but I may not always be able to afford to, considering I can get a cheap pack of highlighters for a£1 at supermarkets when Im short of money.

Cela fait maintenant une dizaine d'années que j'ai délaissé les surligneurs feutres qui avaient la fâcheuse habitude d'être toujours secs quand j'en avais besoin ou de perdre leur capuchon et couler dans leur transport...J'ai testé plusieurs marques dans les différentes couleurs, conclusion ces Staedtler Textsurfer dry sont définitivement les meilleurs : leurs couleurs sont vibrantes et bien fluo, riches et couvrantes, pas besoin de repasser. Ils peuvent être utilisés en coloriage aussi bien qu'en surligneurs, et ne traversent pas même les papiers les plus fins type papier bible.Bien sûr ils ne sèchent pas, ne coulent pas, leurs mines sont assez résistantes. Ils se taillent avec un gros taille crayon classique (gros trou des tailles-crayons doubles).Autres avantages : ce sont des crayons faciles à transporter, pas des gros feutres qui prennent toute la place et déforment les trousses, et ils sont très légers.J'avoue que je n'en ai pas encore fini un seul : non seulement ils durent très longtemps, et surtout je les cède facilement car ils ont beaucoup de succès auprès des collègues et des bibliothécaires...Le prix peux paraître élevé, mais vue la durée du produit ils en valent le coût.

Já tive vários lápis e marcadores. E esse é de longe o melhor! Não suja a mão, não borra o livro, não borra a tinta do impressão, não mancha o verso da página mesmo de páginas finas como a Bíblia. Excelente durabilidade, cor nuito realçada, qualidade incomparável. Vale frisar que o lápis é modelo Jumbo, com pegada anatômica (triangular), o que deixa muito confortável de usar é facilita, pois a ponta para sublinhar e marcar é maior do que de um lápis modelo padrão. Simplesmente o melhor marcador que eu tive na vida. Melhor do que de gel, caneta e qualquer outro lápis marcador que eu já tive!
