I’m a massage therapist and this info has been awesome to truly help my clients, which is more about education than treatment. TJ has a way of stripping away all of the nonsense, trends and plain old fashioned bad advice on how the body heals. This book is for any human on the planet, not just kids in sports. If this book were mandatory for all humans to execute, the world would be a much better place. Do yourself a favor and read this book and practice it’s principles. Finally made it to print! I have been working with this system for the last 5 years with great success personally and among my peers. I am very excited to see it in a form I can now lend out or encourage folks to buy. The message for youth sports is quite clear, and the holistic approach here is a menu for successfully navigating that issues that cause so much disruption to whole lives, not to mention immediate success in sports. But for those of us who are no longer children (chronologically), this program applied to injured adults that I know has enabled bodies to heal separated shoulders, torn UCL, debilitating lumbar spine pain, herniated cervical disk distress, horrific undiagnosable recurrent headaches... the list goes on. Personally it has helped me recover from two hip replacements (due to issues that predated my exposure to this program), to the point where I can hike mountains all day without muscle fatigue or soreness - just by doing 5 minute lunges or squats. I would recommend this book and program to anyone looking to get functionally strong and happy about their physical health and options for the future.

Excellent book for helping young althletic children!
I am so excited about this book, I've been raving about it to all my friends who have athlete children. All my children dance ballet and my teenage son was having a lot of knee issues so I was looking for something to support his knees and found TJ's podcast and then found out he had this book. My kids have been doing his training for about six weeks and all of their complaints of being in pain have gone away! I am thrilled that the areas that were weak and under trained and getting all of the force from the high intensity ballet training they were receiving are now getting just as trained as the other injuries. You only get one body and figuring out how to keep my children's bodies in good health is my top priority. I recommend this book to everyone! I absolutely love TJ's philosophy as well. Move the body!

I received this book a short while ago but from just diving into it a little I can already tell it is a winner! Very comprehensive while also laid out in an easy-to-consume manner, it makes taking in a wealth of knowledge completely non-overwhelming. From following Dr. Tommy John on other platforms, I know his style of delivery (purely informative coupled with thinking beyond conventional methods sprinkled with doses of humor), and I think he has an amazing mindset and perspective on things which is beneficial to kids and adults alike. Can't wait to take in the rest of the book and implement the tactics with my son. Thanks TJ for creating a movement around a topic that is so important and yet so neglected these days!

Everyone, regardless of age, needs this book.
THIS BOOK IS GROUND BREAKING! I ordered this book because I had heard that Dr. Tommy John was a great trainer with very unique ideas on strength and overall health. As someone who is always researching to find the best training methods, I can tell you that after just a few days of training under his approach, I already feel different. I thought this book might be the wrong choice after the first 10 pages because I do not have children, but boy was I wrong. THIS BOOK IS NOT JUST FOR PARENTS, ITS AN INSPIRATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL READ FOR ANYONE AGES 10-110! It does not matter if you have children, want children, or hate children, this book will change your prospective on health; specifically on dieting, working out, and living in this ever changing technology obsessed world.

Now, I know Why My Mother Would Ask Me to Sit Up Straight at the Dinner Table
As a current baseball coach for athletes of various ages, I am constantly looking for methods to keep our athletes healthy so they can perform their best on the field. After face-timing with Dr. Tommy John almost a year ago to the day, I had confidence in the approach I was going to take with our athletes based on his research and results. It wasn't and still isn't complicated stuff. It's BODY MOVEMENT. It's EATING RIGHT. It's all a LIFESTYLE.I can't put this book down. The book provides a reinforcement of what I have learned and gives me extreme detail on what I want to learn. I really appreciate Dr. Tommy for understanding the goals these athletes have set forth, and providing not only them, but myself as a coach, a great tool to hold on to for the rest of our lives.

Inspired
I’ve been following Dr. Tommy John on Instagram for a bit now. Had never heard of his father before my boyfriend was randomly talking about him one day and I put the two together but I love his legacy. I also love his view points. He even inspired me to make sure I sun my genitals often 😆 he’s really that inspirational! Lol. Seriously though, loving this book. Love Dr. Tommy John.

Ever parent of a young athlete needs to read this book!
You're not going to find a more helpful book regarding the health and fitness of your young athlete. This is the stuff you need to know and begin taking action on ASAP. As a Personal Trainer myself, I am completely on board with the methods promoted in this book. I wish I had this knowledge when I was a young athlete! This will be a game changer for you as a parent and the performance of your child.
