Zummo's Hot Boudin Sausage 12 Oz (4 Pack)

Doesn’t taste bad, but doesn’t taste amazing. But just a hair better than average? It scratches the itch.

Arrived thawed at 74 degrees. I’m afraid to eat it. Throwing it In the trash. no dry ice. Just freeze packs which are warm and thawed out. Yuk!UPDATE AFTER THIS REVIEW - Seller sent replacement due to fedex delay and it was frozen and yummy!!! Changing review Thanks

Zummo's is good, reliable boudin. I get it at Kroger (in Atlanta) for $2.89 per 12oz pack. You'll notice that's a little cheaper than $12.50 per pack here on Amazon, plus no delivery charge. Boudin is awesome, and Zummo's is certainly a decent brand, but this is "sausage made with offal and filler" and was the result of poor folks making do with what they had. Delicious, yes. Expensive, NO.

The flavor is just like my mother in law used to fix! She would bring hers home from Louisiana

These are just like the boudin I grew up eating from Louisiana..I’m so glad I can get them shipped to the East Coast now! Just enough spice and flavor!
