Received railing and the screws provided for mounting the railing to the handrail do not fit. I installed secured the handrail to the studs through half inch sheetrock. I used #8 2-inch stainless steel flathead screws to secure the handrail brackets to the wall and #8 1-inch flathead screws to secure the handrail to the brackets. If you used the #10 1-inch screws provided to mount the handrail to the brackets, they will stick out and catch your hand. The manufacturer should provide different screws for this purpose. Would be nice to provide a small amount of clear silicone needed to help fasten the joint between the two handrail pieces. Instructions could be more complete. Find there the center bracket can mount, and then mount the two end brackets first and use a pole to measure where the center bracket should be mounted relative to the handrail. Maybe mount the handrail and install the other two brackets to ensure the right bracket height if the stairs are not perfect. Handrail is good quality, looks nice, and function perfectly sturdy. Certainly happy with my purchase and would recommend it. Will include picts showing you will likely only hit the a 2 x 4 stud with two screws, but if you were lucky enough like me to have 3 out of 5 brackets being double studs, it is no problem. For the two screws where I did not his a stud, I used a plastic sheetrock anchor. The handrail is very secure and feels great to use.

We have a bit of a contemporary house that needed to have railings put in our basement stairwell. These are beautiful feel substantial, and feel nice to the touch when you actually have to use them. I was apprehensive at first because I was find these online and was afraid they could feel too lightweight but they don’t. They are perfect. They look good are unobtrusive and were easy to install. The shipping was fast and the pieces were very well wrapped, even though they were larger than a typical delivery. There was no damage. It’s also nice to buy from a company that makes the products here in the United States.

We wanted Cable Railing for our new deck. I was about to go the cheap route and buy turn buckles and cable from Lowes. But I was doing some research, and luckily I found this! When I found out they sell on Amazon it made it even better. This is a quality set of cable railing, at least half the price of anything else that looks this nice on the market. I would most definitely recommend this if you are looking at cable railing for your deck, or anything else. Installation is really easy, and I was able to do it myself in under 2 hours from start to finish. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. It looks awesome. The quality is awesome. And, it is way better priced than anything else out there.

I don't often post reviews but the cost/value of this item is worth the effort. Not only are these kits great looking, they are brilliantly simple in their design and engineering. Packaging was extremely well done as they arrived in perfect condition. I installed these on interior walls using 3" screws into existing 2 x4 framing and they are solid even though I could only get 2 solid hits of the 3 holes in the brackets. Other installations, as in a masonry wall, all 3 bracket holes could be used. The star of these kits are the brackets. Minimalist in design and infinitely adjustable to any stair angle, they look as good as they perform. I'd give these kits 5 stars if it weren't for the finish on the rail to rail connector. Either my connectors were for another rail finish or the vendor uses another manufacturer whose process is different that that of the rail but the difference is very noticeable. I'm not going to dwell on it but there are ways to make the connector less noticeable. It's worth mentioning it's a good idea to locate studs in the existing wall before you order and plan the kit length accordingly noting the instructions require a bracket to be located at the rail connector. Plan on cutting the rail tubing to suit the application. I used a large manual tubing cutter like plumbers use to cut copper tubing. A chop saw could be used if you live dangerously. Unless you're really good with a hand hack-saw, I'd leave it in the toolbox. All that said, I'd buy these again and don't know how anyone could be dissatisfied with their look (other than the connector), ease of installation and security.

This handrail is of excellent quality with very well made components. We were wanting something sleek and well made that fits our decor and this fits the bill. A couple of things to note - there were no included instructions and the manufacturer has some basic instructions on their website but a little cryptic. It works fine for an experienced installer. For longer lengths like this 9 footer it comes in two 4 1/2 foot sections with a coupler which is fine. One last thing - make sure of your stud placement and figure 2 brackets per section, this should be screwed directly into a stud and do not rely on anchors in a hollow wall.

I am very impressed with the quality of this handrail. It arrive about a week earlier than it said when I purchased it... so in all it took 5 days from the day I ordered. I had some difficulty figuring out the best way to get this installed, but once I got the brackets on the wall in studs I was able to mark with marker on the pole where to put the self-drilling screws in. Without a power drill that would have been very difficult, but with one its simple! I love the look of it so much that I ordered another one for my basement steps.

Excellent rating, easy to install if you know what you are doing. I Ordered two railing systems 5' and 6' for a rental building. Excellent strength and very good handle diameter. Double check you housing code, but these railing should be up to code in your area. They included 3 wall mounting systems and screws to mount the railing to the brackets. This is adjustable and I would suggest pre drilling holes first then widening with the screws for exact fit. The unit does not come with screws to mount to the wall which is typical as most. Real systems require a contactor or DYI to identify the studs and install screws or drywall mounts (not recommend) to secure it to the wall. My suggestion would be get atleast two of the backs screwed into studs and adjust the middle bracket somewhere in between. Will buy again, my only complaint is that I had to pay shipping on each of the units even though they came from the same place, feels wasteful.

Replaced the old wooden handrail for the exterior stairs with this well made, sturdy metal one. The adjustable mounting brackets make installation easy-peasy. And the finished job looks great too! Only hiccup was that the pre-drilled holes in the mounting brackets were too small diameter for the smallest concrete/brick screws available; easily solved by drilling them slightly larger.

Comme les autres commentaires, il n’y a pas de vis d’inclues pour l’installation murale mais très facile à trouver en quincaillerie. Je suis très content de mon achat.
