Bought By Mistake, but Happy With It
I must have been tired when I read about this or I read it too quickly, because I thought I was buying the campground one. We have an RV and we camp across the country. However, we do stay in hotels, with our dogs, in the winter or if the weather is really bad so this will come in handy. It also has plenty of information on where else dogs are allowed, parks, restaurants, etc. so I did not send it back. I'll buy the campground one next spring.

Not a fan of the Kindle Version
I ordered the Kindle version of this. Really not a fan - it is so hard to navigate through this book on my Kindle Fire.I cannot find a table of contents or index to help me find information. This is really a reference book primarily with a listing of pet friendly accomodations by state. It has a bit more info than that but it is so hard to find, I'm not sure it is really worth it. I think for a book like this the paperback version is probably better so you can flip through to more quickly find what you need.I can't really review the content since it is so hard to find what I'm looking for on my Kindle.

Not kindle friendly
This has a lot of great info.. except that great info is hard to access on a Kindle Fire. There doesn't seem to be a table of contense so you have to scroll threw everything. I was going to use this to plan a trip cross country with my dog. I have found some good info, it's just that the finding in rather time consuming.

The right book
It is a very good book. What we need for our trips with our little girl. At the tip of the fingers we have all the motels, attractions, restaurants and other information needed to take her with us with no worries. One problem I found with it: typographical errors. The author(s) should proofread a bit closer or get someone who is more meticulous. Some of us do like to read a book without encountering errors. One or two in such a copious book is acceptable, but not more. I will recommend the books to my friends. Hope you understand my critique is a suggestion.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
The most useless book I have ever purchased! We recently moved to Florida after retiring and now have our first puppy. We had to go backto the midwest for my granddaughters graduation and that was the reason I purchased the book.Because I hate driving through Atlanta traffic and all the rain the area was getting, I decided to take the southern route which is past Tallahassee and then up through Alabama through Dothan, Montgomery and Birmingham. We wanted to drive past Birmingham on I-65. We could not find one pet friendly motel listed on our route once we passed Birmingham. We decided to stop at an exit that listed several motels and asked if they were pet friendly, most of the nicer hotels were not, but they were able to tell us who in the area accepted pets. Don't waste your money.

Travel guide for people with dogs
Just recently received this book and I am very excited about it. I have two labs and it is very hard for us to travel with them because alot of hotels do not accept dogs over 25 pounds. Mine are 68 and 72 pounds. This book has it all broken down by City, State, Hotel, Restaurants that you can eat at with you babies and etc. Great info book for anyone that loves to travel with their babies(dogs).

Pretty thorough!
I also bought DogFriendly.com's Campground and Park Guide; together it's just about everything you would ever need to know except a specific trail book for your destination if you are going to hike. I will say that many of the State Parks section lists trails, too.
