If you’re looking for a new camera system, look no further. I’ve had Blink cameras for years, and they’re awful—outdated and unreliable. The motion detection is poor, and powering them is expensive since you have to buy specific batteries that cost around £15 for four, and they don’t last nearly as long as advertised. Tapo cameras, on the other hand, are a game changer. Mine are installed in both low and high sunlight areas, and they charge without any issues. The colour night vision is excellent and works really well. They’re also placed in high-traffic areas and never run out of power. Installation and setup are quick and straightforward, and all the features work exactly as they should. If you’re considering Tapo, go for it—they’re brilliant.

For the price I wasn’t expecting too much, but having had this camera installed in my back garden for a couple of weeks I’m impressed. Good quality video and the battery is still at 80+%. If you want a good, no frills camera that works with Alexa then this is worth considering. I would be happy to purchase another one of these.

Easy set up , good quality picture and sound and area of camera view and video is great, don't forget the SD card which you have to get separately and whilst setting up make sure you put it on solar panel mode as one found out the hard way. Value for money and you don't have keep charging which is a huge plus.

Purchased for my parents house to watch out for a squirrel in the loft. Great battery, great quality, easy to setup BUT it did fail to catch the squirrel wandering round. I'd definitely recommend though as it's great for capturing humans 👍🏻😁

Love it, works seamlessly with Alexa and it’s half the price of an Amazon camera. The picture is excellent and as it has its own solar panel I haven’t had to charge it yet. I did install an Amazon one in the garden at the same time and I’ve had to charge that one and the same time period. It’s incredibly easy to install and there’s even a template to know where to drill. ( essential for a woman with little drilling experience )

Excellent product, well built and very clear images. Battery life is very good. Would recommend this product to others thinking of buying a camera.

First thoughts - this is the third TAPO camera I have as I have found them to be well made and when I did have a problem, their support was helpful and solved the problem eventually. I have two issues with this one - false alarms due to movement outside the detection area (I have had to set the area much smaller than I would like and reduce the sensitivity) and the camera mounting bracket not being long enough to allow enough of an angle to cover the area I wanted (I fitted a longer camera bracket from a wildlife camera to allow enough space to cover the desired area). Now a month later. Serious issues have emerged. Detection is sporadic, often outside the set area but 40% of the time, it doesn't detect anything inside the area. I have had to turn off movement detection and leave it on human detection only due to so may false alarms caused by shadows. Iniitially, their help line asked for more details and adjustments but the more I gave them, the more they came back for. Got tired of it so have asked them to either sort it or refund. You don't buy a piece of consumer electronics and expect to have to constantly adjust it. Even later: Finally got an answer as to why it was so poor. It uses infra red sensing which is fine for burglar alarms but not for cameras as it isn't accurate enough. They appear to have been stringing me along until I gave up but I was just within the return period for Amazon so it's going back. Tapo also said they don't deal with refunds. Perhaps they should read the sale of goods act.

Love these. I bought 3 for keeping an eye on my goats in their shed. The solar works well in sunny conditions so kept the batteries charged, which last for ages. In the winter I supplement with a battery pack attached to each with the solar panel feeding the battery pack. This usually gets me through 3 or 4 months. The cameras work well in all lights (sometimes a pink hew in dusk light conditions but turning the light on and off again resolves this). The app is easy to use and the cameras are very easy to set up.

Aplicação muito fácil. A app da Tapo é muito intuitiva e permite gerir várias câmaras em simultâneo. O único ponto fraco é que por ser uma câmara a bateria não é possível fazer gravação contínua, apenas grava quando há deteção de movimento.

It is good came6i have to say but the tile list ed as 2K resolution but when I got the item it clear displays on the box it is Full HD. I hope they can fix what they say. Otherwise this is miss leading people!!!. Have to return it
