Good quality materials and assembly workmanship. I like the assortment of needles - lcan see how l can inject different cuts of meat (and fish - the smallest needle should be perfect for meaty cuts of fish). I especially like the trigger stop that can be set to control the amount of fluid injected in 1ml increments from 1ml to 5 ml. I just injected a pork roast (first time using it) and it was a breeze. Easy clean-up, too - the assembly/disassembly instructions are clear. To the person who reported that the handle broke the first time: you must have gotten a defective item - return it for a new one - isn't that why we shop on Amazon? To the person who reported that marinade came out the back of the tube: your rear flat washer probably slipped and did not make a tight seal - if not damaged, it is easily reseated - if it did get damaged; well, that's why they include a replacement set of washers and o-rings.

We love this syringe. It is easy on the hand. Easier to load and inject the marinade into the turkey/meat. Makes prepping the turkey fun and easier than the syringe that comes with the pre-packaged creole marinade.

If you are looking for a meat injector that is versatile enough to handle small cooks as well as large cooks. This injector is it.It has all the things that I'm looking for in a meat injector. I've found it to be easy to use. The multiple size injector needles provide versatility for different applications and are easily interchangeable. The pistol grip makes it easy to hold and dispense the juices/marinades you are using. It also breaks down easily for clean-up. The 2 different brushes make the clean-up process easy. The carrying case makes it easy to store and transport.This injector kit is very versatile no matter the size of the group that i'm preparing food for.I see this injector kit as a valuable addition for your food preparation whether you are weekend warrior, competition bar-b-quer or a professional chef.

Overall the injector is very well made, the case is very nice for taking to comps, but mine has a problem with the needles stating seated. I've used it numerous times since ordering and each time the needle unseats and falls off the injector. No matter how hard I screw it on even the slightest bump of twist will cause it to back out. Gorilla tape works ok but if it gets too wet it falls off as well. It's not a huge gripe, it works great when needle stays seated but 99% of the time it does not.Customer service is fantastic though. After a shipping error Doug at Hold Your Horses fixed it the next day which was wonderful. For his trouble I offered to give an HONEST review which I hope I have done. Overall I would buy it again even though the needle issue is annoying. The rest of the injector is very sturdy and is easy to pack when I go to BBQ competitions so I'm happy with it. Cheers!

Great product I just had a small problem with the types of seasoning I use

The media could not be loaded. Received my Injector and I am already loving it! I make pot roasts quite often but getting all of the flavor to be in every bite can be a hassle. This tool makes it so much easier for me! When I opened my case, I was pleasantly surprised with how organized the pieces were! The packaging had the needles strapped down in an orderly fashion which makes the arrangement far more presentable too (I enjoy an uncluttered setup!). The brushes provided also allow for future use as they make it easy for the Injector to be cleaned. No one wants old food on their tools! Go easy on the handle! It does not require a lot of force to inject your meat (this will also aid in the tool lasting for a long time!). The price matches the quality of the Injector so you’re not overpaying for an undervalued item. If you whip this thing out at your next family barbecue, you’re going to look like professional!

Product worked good twice and then didn't want to ratchet in anymore. Definitely not worth $60

Just got off the phone with the Hold Your Horses company. I had an issue with my last injection and come to find out it is a simple fix and it was my fault. The “o” rings on the injector are adjustable come to find out. You simply hold the o rings and tighten the knob on the back of the plunger. It squished the o rings causing them to expand. This is so that it has the perfect fit and can be cleaned thoroughly. Great design and terrific customer support
