Review: Nice, compact and warm (even on a 24F night) - I have owned this back for a few years and a three seasons of spring and fall tent camping, mainly in the Michigan UP. am a amateur camper and not a tough woodsman type. It is nice, light, comfortable, rolls up into the carrying bag easily (important when packing up a small tent from the inside in the rain!!!). I like the little details - the hood, neck partition and carrying bag. This spring, the temperature outside my tent fell to 24F and the bag kept me nice and cozy (albeit fully clothed), partly thanks to the features mentioned above. Based on my actual experience, I thoroughly recommend it.

**Q: would you need a bedroll or mat for laying on the ground or is there enough padding to lay right down?**
A: It's called sleeping bag insulation - not padding. It works by having air pockets - which are collapsed when not much weight is put on it. Your body weight collapses the insulation in the bag under you. Hence the advice to have something under you for insulation, and comfort too. Even a heavy coat on top ruins the insulation there.

**Q: Is it easy to stuff back in?**
A: We are very satisfied with the product. If you roll up the sleeping bag tightly it is easy to stuff it back into the bag.

**Q: What’s the lowest temperature you can use this in?**
A: It was just above freezing in FL when we used them the first time. About 34’ and we slept very well. The hooded part is great too.

**Q: How much does it weigh**
A: Mine weighs 4 pounds, 3 ounces and that includes the storage bag

Well we can no longer buy a pretty good sleeping bag for $25. I actually don’t know at what price we would be able to, unless we made them ourselves. Well never the less in consideration of hiking prices, and the competition.. not good.. It is not a bad sleeping bag.. I doubt that it would pass for a 4 season as claimed.. maybe with another over it perhaps.. but we don’t know yet.. If I ever have to use in such conditions, I definitely would go prepared and not trust all sale pitches. But to be honest.. I like the sleeping bag.. but it isn’t like super big, and I think I ordered the larger one.. but it isn’t super small neither.. I personally think it isn’t badly made.. and comes very compact..👍 I like that. Not hard to roll up and put back in its little bag. I read how they say after a few washings all the filler will roll down on you.. Well I think it is pretty well stitched, although I can also see where that would be possible.. maybe.. So when I decide to wash it, I plan to run a stitch along each side on both sides to prevent this.. When you like something you do what you can to salvage it.. I don’t know about finding much better in the near price proximity.. So I am keeping it! Yey! Ohh I don’t know if it is the actual deep black color I ordered.. looks dark grey.. or a deep green.. but I like it anyway.. Keeping it; SND it got here just hours after the order went in.. ( The order went in without me finishing it.. or with my approval.. I am Keeping some.. but some other things are ridiculous by private vendors.. $29 for 2 $6 buckets for shipping.. But I didn’t order the items.. just keeping some.. The also want to charge me $29 to return them.. Make sure it’s Amazon.. cause seriously.. total $70 something dollars for 2 $6 plastic 5 gallon buckets; plain white! I am pretty sure they pushed the order through without my consent! in an half hour they had shipped the items.. so now I have to pay for a return.. luckily I called them and told them that I didn’t make the order. Don’t do 3rd Party orders!!!
