Compact, portable device
I'm new to metal detecting. I wanted a compact device that I can carry on my bike or keep in my car boot for when the urge to have some fun on the beach. This machine fits the bill 100%. Simple to use, found metal objects (no gold yet🤔😉) very easily on my first use. Simple controls. Happy beginner.

Go for something more expensive
Bought as new, and it arrived seemingly used. It has a foreign object stuck under the screen - myself and my partner assumed it was some sort of logo, until their support confirmed it wasn’t supposed to be there. In terms of usage, it screeches at anything and doesn’t appear to be very accurate as the categories change within millimetres. I highly doubt I’ve got iron, a coin and a ring in the same hole. As an aside, it does not come with batteries - and for something that retails for £199, that isn’t good enough for me. It feels flimsy, is very light and very plasticky. It is more of a toy than a serious bit of kit. Doesn’t appear to be value for money.

I bought this as a gift for the daughter. She says it works well and finds stuff easily. No Viking hoards yet. I bought this after seeing that its predecessor is a WHICH Best Buy. This one was the better, upgraded, one, and was on offer so I bought it.

Disappointed Christmas
Machine wouldn't even switch on. Tried several different batteries but nothing. Christmas morning very disappointing. Flimsy, cheap, do not recommend
