Most definitely, in my opinion. I bought them for my 1 and 3 year old. My 1 year old chews and it's very durable.

Can I put warm water in it? What's the max temp it can hold?

It is not insulated, could probably fill with water up to 120F but it will not stay hot for long, or is designed for cold beverages.

Is the straw wide enough to drink smoothies?
