We both have these now for our travels. They are well made, comfortable, attractive and light weight. Empty, they take up very little room, great for travel. In running through large airports, it is far more comfortable and secure to have these. I like to have both hands free. They fit under the seats of aircraft well. When ashore, they make it easier to go shopping. Love these!

I got this for a trip to Malaysia and love it! The 30L capacity is roomy yet it didn’t take up much space in my suitcase. It easily fit overnight essentials for a part of the trip when we couldn’t take luggage. It has the high quality and comfort you’d expect from Eddie Bauer. Highly recommend!!The care instructions say “do not wash” but I was nasty sweaty in the rainforest and thought I’d risk it. It washed beautifully in warm water on the delicate cycle (my machine does not have an agitator).

These work amazingly well for travel. I bought both the 20L and 30L sizes. Honestly, the 20L is large enough for day to day use. I love how they stuff into one of the built in pockets for a compact way to store. Easy to pack, very light weight and after multiple trips to amusement parks, national parks, and various vacation spots it still looks like new.

Got this on sale for $20 during Prime Day and I'm glad I did. This bag frequently goes on sale so, if you're thinking about it, you can always wait to see if it drops in price. The 20L feels like the perfect size. Considering the straps are thin (it is a packable backpack after all), loading up a bigger version with tons of stuff doesn't seem like the best idea. I wish it compacted a little better/smaller but it's still pretty impressive. It takes a little practice to get it packed and unpacked but once it's ready it's very useful-- lots of handy pockets and the main compartment is roomy. The water bottle pockets are a bit too loose and my bottle fell out during my testing of it, so I don't think I'll use it much in the wild.

Perfect for hiking and folds nicely as a compact to store in suitcase . Used on my trip to national parks . Not heavy and bulky . Good day pack.

Practical, lightweight, and Saturday. Packed a weeks worth of clothes and necessities with room to spare. Paddes back and comfortable straps. Washable.

It has a lot of space, and folds up easily. It doesn't droop, even with a fair amount of weight on it. What I don't like are the black front straps, that do not match the rest of it, and the packed size, which is rather large and would take up a considerable amount of space in a backpack. I like it, don't love it, and might do a little more searching if I were looking for a pack-able second pack again.

Bought this for a quick Colorado trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Perfect day pack for water. A snack. Storing extra clothing layers. Comfortable to wear. Wore for 6 hours one day and was still comfortable. It doesnt have a lot of padding on the shoulder straps so I was worried about comfort. It was fine.
