The metal pencil head constantly comes unscrewed from plastic body during use, which breaks the lead inside and renders it useless. I have to constantly stop and tighten the tip, and I've gone through an unnecessary amount of pencil lead as a result. Extremely inconvenient during an exam when I can't just stop and replace the leads if they break. I would love these otherwise--the colors are fun and I love that it included a pack of colored leads. I've thought of trying to fix them with some pipe sealing tape, but have yet to test if that would work. IT SHOULDN'T BE NECESSARY TO HAVE TO FIX PENCILS WITH PIPE SEALING TAPE THOUGH.

Perfect buy for kids that are into mechanical pencils. The pencils are a harder case. The bright colors are very unique and help differentiate when in class. Very great buy with thw extra leads and the color leads are added bonus with kids taking Cornell notes. Will definitely buy again.

They do have erasers...... But besides that great pencils*Edit my son discovered the eraser under the silver lid.

These are not good colored lead pencils! The lead breaks easily, is extremely brittle and requires going over and over the same line in order for the color to appear on the paper. Big Disappointment !

The description reads that it includes color lead, but it was regular lead, not color.
