I got this kit because I want to save money on going to the salon and getting my nails done, and I wanted to do something for myself and for my seasonal depression... so I ordered this on Valentines day and I did my nails on Saturday. I am very impressed how easy it was. I am still new to gel nails but I love all the colors and how bright all the colors are. I am getting ideas on what to do for for each holiday. I cannot wait for St. Patricks day now. 10/10 recommend. Oh I also have the nail extensions on as well. Really happy it come with those so when I am not working in the school kitchen, I can have them a little bit longer during the summer. will be ordering more products from lavender violets in the future.

They work really good but the top coat was a little sticky after curing.

This is a good beginners kit or for anyone just trying out gel polish for the first time. It's tackier texture compared to other brands but this is the price you pay for a cheaper kit. I like the color selection and the price though.

My husband got this kit on Black Friday. Best nail kit I purchased through Amazon! It’s very easy to use and it comes out so pretty. I purchased so many nail kits through Amazon and I had hard time to find anything easy but comes out great. But this nail kit is so easy to manage and it comes out like I went to get nails done at the nail salon. I’m loving it.

The nails themselves and the lamp are nice but the polishes are horrible- way too thick and annoying to manage, prone to peeling because of this. Decent starter kit but I ended up breaking down and immediately buying born pretty and model one gels instead for only a few bucks more and would have saved money had I just bought those ones in the first place.

Lavender Violets will always be my goto gel polish for their colors and the smoothness and ease of the application process!

I just love this kit so far. I’ve only done 2 nails but so far they look beautiful and so easy! I’ve always done acrylics on my nails myself, but these gel nails are so much easier and no filing! You get a lot of nail tips and the light has a timer so you dont have to count seconds yourself. Lots of pretty colors too. Do it yourself and it’s fun too.

I’m not a professional, just a beginner, but this set worked great for me! As some other reviews said, the UV curing light isn’t strong, but I just kept my hand in for a full 90 seconds each coat and it cured very well. Make sure the coats are thin so it cures all the way and you’ll be perfect. The base coat didn’t seem to fully dry no matter how many times I cured it, so I just ended up using the regular colors on top of it anyway and they cured fine. So, not sure what’s up with the base coat, but it didn’t seem to matter in the end. It’s not anything crazy, but for the price and items included, I thought it was a great deal!
