I have tried multiple drugstore moisturizers, serums, and even organic oils. While sesame seed oil and grape seed oil did well for a while, eventually my skin became immune to them and thus they no longer had any positive affects such as soothing/diminishing existing acne. When I found this product, I was quite hesitant just because some creams I have bought in the past that claimed to be natural had managed to irritate my skin so badly that the breakout it initiated took weeks to clear up... However, I found myself very surprised by this...Although when they say a little goes a LONG way.. They mean it!! All you need is a tiny bit for your entire face! If you're not careful, this can make you incredbly oily because it is such a high concentration. Anyways, the first night I used this, my skin had never felt more soft and hydrated! And when I woke up the next morning, the existing acne I had was soothed and a lot smaller! Also, bear in mine that I use this product in conjunction with the face cleanser/toner by illumination body, which I have a separate review on (I love it.) After using this product for a couple of months or so, I can confidently say that it is my HG product! I've even used it as a spot treatment for poped pimples and it helped flatten the swelling overnight! Not only that, but it's been helping with the hyperpigmentation from past/present flare ups. I will definitely be repurchasing whenever I run out - which might be a while since you only need to use so little! This is my third time buying it.It works very well on my sensitive skin (not the cleanser toner though. The toner dries it and leaves a layer behind). The oil does begin to separate from the lotion towards the end of the bottle but that only means they are not using other chemicals to stick the two together, which is great. In my many years of searching for a good product for my face, this moisturizer takes the cake. I absolutely love it!
