I'm 50, still getting my period but more erratically and all the fun menopausal symptoms are coming out to play. I started getting hot flashes at the start of the year, and by early February they were coming on every 20 minutes or so, all day and night. I had read up on black cohosh and figured I had nothing to lose. I deliberately didn't change anything else about my habits in the two weeks since I've been taking them and I'm grateful and stunned at how effective they have been. Instead of 30-plus drench-to-freeze flashes every single day, I'll get a couple of much, much milder ones, usually at night. I know this is anecdotal, but it's really how it's worked out for me so far so if you are suffering, just get these and take the chance.

I believe that you need this big bottle because it takes a while to see any improvement. I have taken these diligently for about a month now and I can see some benefit but I can very easily have trouble at night. Not sure if it would work for all women but it's helping me a bit.
