I got the throw for a warm bed (even in summer) but the cord connection on the throw size was such that I needed it near the headboard to plug in (which made it awkward to get in/out of bed). We're using this in the living room now (still appreciated). Warms fairly quickly, soft, good size, looks nice, easy to move room to room if needed.

Blanket is thin but large. The wires can be felt and if you turn the heat up high can definitely feel like it’s burning. But I love it and have used it a tonSince I got it. It feels like whole body heating pad and wraps all the way around me. I got the 84” one and the heat is consistent throughout - I have one of those foot heating pad things and the heatOn such a small Unit by comparison has very uneven distribution. I’m not sure if there is an automatic shut off - I think there must be bc I fell asleep and it did shut off but it will stay on for hours. I would recommend 78 as the max heat settings 86 where I first tried it was VERY hot. I do love it though so I’m giving it five stars even with the cautions to pay attention to. I’m using it now while I write. I suppose for true perfection would be able to set a timer or have some safety setting but I love it. Cord is extremely long too - don’t get tangled in it. I guess I would say it’s not for children without guidance but if you want to wrap it all around you like a burrito on the couch, this is perfect.

While yes I can feel the wires this blanket typically goes on top of another blanket so it doesn't bug me too much! It heats up in about a minute, and the material is actually really soft. Easy to wash just put it in on cold water and dry on low heat!

I absolutely am in love with this blanket. It works exactly as advertised the material is very soft and comfortable against the skin the heating is perfectly balanced and it covered my entire king sized bed . It is also very easy to operate. I highly recommend . My dogs sleep with me and one cat and they love it as well .

The black side got the fabric picked all over it within the first 2 days. I don't pull or cut them. I use a lighter to burn it. However, the heating and softness is fantastic. The size is perfect for my queen bed. Even though we ordered full size, it fit our queen perfectly without much hanging over the edges. It was definitely too bulky to maneuver around when I took it to the couch for a movie day. It's extremely soft and is a very warm blanket with and without the heat on. I usually put it on 5 or 6 to warm it up, but I drop it to level 2 or I will roast.The issue with the fabric disappointed me and that is the only reason why it's getting 4 stars and I really had selected 3 stars originally then switched it to 4, since the heating and timing functions work so well, and it's a very soft blanket, I opted for my final rating of 4 stars. I would not purchase this one again due to how the fabric gets picked so quickly and easily. Also, my husband ordered black (I wanted gray), but the black shows everything. Lint balls, animal hair, my hair, etc. I have had it less than 1 month and it easily looks like this is my 2nd or 3rd winter using this blanket.

Mom was never very cold till she got sick and lost weight. This blanket has been a godsend. It’s very soft and light which is important because heavy blankets hurt her feet. It warms very evenly and quickly. Also it looks really nice.

While it worked-- it was REALLLY good! Then-- after ~20-30 days (I didn't count), it doesn't get "hot" anymore-- I can crank it to "high", and its gets luke-warm -- not "HOT, not even WARM" -- just kind of sickly edges get a little warm and nothing else.The "remote" kinda sucks -- L->0-9->H (I don't know what "L" or "H" mean) and time which is 1/2/4/8 --- which is mostly good enough for a night.. I wish I knew what L and H meant.And-- while it did work (I used "level 6" and 8 hours) or "6/8" it was pretty good !! Until... it didn't work.For a month of use? I reallly can't recommend it-- something has failed in it, so it just doesn't heat anymore (at least, not like it did-- may 1 corner does? Whats the point in that)
