Review: Non standard parts and poor design - Compressor is quite good BUT: it gets very hot after short use, the design is not great - the gauge is at the hebfat end if th hide but cannot be use when the compressor is in use. You have to return to the compressor to turn it off then back to the tyre to check the gauge and repeat until you reach the desired pressure. I tried to resolve this by buying a third party universal gauge but the hose in this compressor is not standard so not compatible.

A: I haven't seen anything in the description saying it is but I don't think the unit would be damaged if it got a little rain on it. As with any other electrical equipment, I wouldn't expose it to water if possible. It does seem like a well-built unit but haven't had the chance to use it yet.

This has been a life saver on the trail. It airs up my 40 inch tires in just a couple of minutes. I was surprised at the speed. This thing is super heavy duty and a great option for any offroader. It is a little cumbersome to drag out and hook up to the battery, but is a better option than waiting for other compressors that take 5 minutes a tire. Love the product.
