Q: What is the lowest and highest cut I can get with this?

Lowest - almost bald. It comes with a 1/2 blade which is a very short crew cut. Other blades go from 1 up to 8. 8 leaves the hair pretty long - if you want to keep it longer on top or in the front to spike it up a bit. This is a great kit - I am not a pro, I use it to cut my sons' hair, ages 10 and 16 - they always look good!
