Super Lustrous Glass Shine Balm, 006 Girly Swirly, 0.11 oz

I love this lipstick. So smooth. Easy to apply. NOT sticky at all. I chose the 004 Nude illuminator and it has just enough color to make my lips look alive. It lasts pretty well. I like it for the hydration, smoothness with soft color. Great value. Will purchase again in other colors.

It's not often that I fall in love at first try. I'm picky and hard to please. I have bigger lips that are not symmetrical, and are hard to get even and on point. When I slide gloss, matte, satin or anything else down my top lip toward either corner, it's a crapshoot as to whether it's going to slide into the fresh light wrinkles on my 58 year old mouth to give me a slight Joker smile. (Hence the picky, and I hate using a pencil liner). I was a bit terrified trying this very inexpensive product as I usually purchase high end products, but ironically am at a loss finding the perfect berry color to compliment any color work outfit with my olive skin. While I love me strong colors (think Too Faced, Lady Balls), my female colleagues find nude, flat and boring the color of the year, so I'm trying to tone it down a notch. I found a happy medium with this product and shade. It is hydrating with a gentle shine, without creating that weird white line on the inner part of the lip, and buildable. It stays put while you're talking or drinking out of a straw, but don't bother thinking it will stay on during a meal, a makeout session, or even really giving a gentle blot. You'll be reapplying every time. I put it on at 9am before a long work meeting, and it stayed on un-smudged until 1pm. Bear in mind, I am not a lip licker, I don't rub my lips together, or anything that would naturally disrupt the product. The best part? I was able to jump in my car, and wipe it off to apply my beloved MAC Ruby Woo to attend a lunch, and there was no issue with product cross interference. I went from the balm to the MAC with no issue of the MAC staying on like normal after this balm being on for 4 hours. Highly recommend.

If you are tired of sticky glosses but find regular lipsticks too heavy, this product sits in the absolute sweet spot. To me, it feels like more than a standard lip gloss, but less intense than a classic lipstick. ​Here is my honest breakdown after trying it out: 🌸​The Finish & Texture: It feels incredibly comfortable on the lips. The texture has a slightly oily, smooth, and deeply hydrating feel, but it is completely non sticky. It gives a beautiful, shiny finish without being heavy. There is absolutely no shimmer, glitter, or frostiness to it, and it isn't matte either, just a clean, healthy sheen. ​ 🌸The Color: I bought this product blind, and honestly, it is not my favorite or preferred color. In my opinion, it doesn't bring out the natural pink or berry tones of the lips at all. It is not a nude. Wrong name. Instead, what I perceive is a reddish base with an orange undertone, leaving more of a warm orange coral tint. Lip colors always come down to personal preference, but for my taste, it leans a bit too much toward the orange side. ​ The Scent: It does have a fragrance, though it stays pretty subtle. To me, it smells slightly sweet, soft, and faint. Shade reviewed: 018 Beaming Strawberry I own a lot of prestige lip products (Sisley, YSL, Westman Atelier, Chanel, Dior and etc.) and honestly bought this out of curiosity after seeing the packaging online. I was not expecting it to feel this elevated for under $10. First, the packaging absolutely does NOT feel cheap. The white and gold tube has a very clean, compact, modern, luxury aesthetic that honestly reminds me of higher-end balm hybrids. It has a nice weight in the hand, clicks securely closed, and looks much more expensive than the price point. Now for the formula, because this is where I think some reviewers may have misunderstood the product category. This is NOT a long wear matte lipstick. It is a glass shine balm. Think glossy hydrating balm meets lipstick. If you go into it expecting a traditional opaque lipstick with transfer-proof wear, you will probably be disappointed. But if you want juicy, healthy, hydrated lips with a polished “your lips but prettier” effect, this formula is fantastic. Addressing the 1-star reviews: 1. “It’s just Vaseline with no color.” I completely disagree. The pigment is intentionally sheer but visible. On my fair skin, it gives a fresh medium pink flush that brightens the entire face. It looks soft, youthful, and effortless rather than heavy or opaque. The shine also creates that expensive healthy-lip effect you usually see from luxury balm formulas. And the formula feels comfortable and cushiony. The key is application: • One swipe = sheer glossy tint • Two to three swipes = noticeably richer color payoff and shine It layers beautifully without getting patchy. 2. “It bleeds/smudges and disappears immediately.” I have not experienced bleeding, but I also apply it the way I do higher-end glossy balms: • Light application near the lip line • Build color in the center • Pair with liner if you want extra definition or longevity Because it’s a hydrating balm texture with glass shine, yes, it has slip. That is the point. But unlike some glossy balms, this one fades evenly and leaves behind a soft stain-like freshness instead of disappearing in a weird ring. Not the best choice for an all-day event unless used as a topper, but perfect for at-home hydration, gym, running errands or etc. I also did NOT find it melting excessively in my purse, although I would avoid leaving it in a hot car just like any softer balm lipstick. It is a soft bullet, so avoid too much pressure upon application. Other things I loved: • Extremely comfortable and moisturizing • Makes lips look smoother and healthier • No gritty shimmer chunks • Gives that plush reflective shine without feeling sticky • Easy mirror-free touchups • Looks beautiful alone or layered over liner or a matte lipstick • Very flattering everyday fresh pink Honestly, this product reminds me of the trend toward expensive “lip treatment” style products from luxury brands, but at a drugstore price. Revlon absolutely nailed the formula, aesthetic, and shade range here. Will definitely purchase more colors.

This lipstick feels great on but don't buy this color. There is no color, just clear. I expected to see color per the description and pictures on the listing.

I got this on Prime Day and it’s my new favorite go-to lip product. The color is Girly Swirly and it’s absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I’ve only had this for 3 days but here’s my thoughts. Pros: This product glides on super smooth, just like butter, and isn’t sticky at all. It’s extremely moisturizing and has been keeping my lips soft and supple in the Arizona heat and dryness. The color is stunning, hands down my favorite color of the 30+ lip products that I’ve gotten in the past 6 months. No taste or strong smell either which is nice. The pearly white packaging looks lux. Overall, this meets if not beats the expectations of more expensive popular brands like Laneige (although I do love my Laneige for other reasons). Cons: It is a balm so although your lips stay soft, the color does fade rather quickly. If not drinking/eating, I reapplied for moisturizing purposes every 5hr but for color purposes every 2hrs. Regardless, I still highly recommend this product.

"Glistening Purple" is such a beautiful shade, I think it's perfect for all undertones. I believe olives would especially love this color. It can be applied very lightly for just a touch of color and it can be (very easily and smoothly) built up to be deeper. It looks slightly warmer in most indoor lighting but cooler outdoors. The shine is really pretty. It's extremely easy to apply without making a mess because it looks really good with the edges blurred out. It can be used to help create the illusion of larger lips because of that as well. It lasts about as long as most similar lip products do, unless I do a lot of prepping beforehand, so I bring it with me to reapply it periodically. I love that there's no fragrance in it.

Love this! Perfectly moisturising and not sticky, leaves a very slight long lasting shimmer but not glitter type shimmer. My new favourite product!

Perfect lippie for a girl who hates most lip products! I got the shade Pink Flip and it’s the perfect amount of glow, tons of moisture, and such a flattering touch of color. It feels SO comfortable on the lips! I can’t stand anything goopy, sticky, globby, or grainy, and this is none of that. It’s smooth, lightweight, glossy, and actually feels moisturizing. My search for the perfect everyday lippie is officially over! Try her out -you won’t be disappointed! 💕

En algunos comentarios dicen que no tiene color pero no es cierto, si tiene uno muy suave y yo si veo diferencia al aplicarlo. Me encanta este tono porque está súper natural, fresco y con unos ligeros destellos. Es como un tono durazno rosadito, un poco naranja. Para mí es ideal cuando sólo salgo al súper o algo sencillo y quiero que mis labios tengan tantito color además de que los mantiene hidratados. Eso sí, al ser un tipo bálsamo obvio no dura todo el día. Comes y ya se despintó todo. Creo que se me acabará rápido pero sin duda volveré a comprarlo.

Muy bonito color. Tiene un brillo que lo hace especial, no es el primero que compro de este modelo de Revlon y sin duda volveré a comprar cuando lo necesite.
