Much cheaper than the Mercedes brand
Worked, but were more difficult to install than Mercedes brand. Had to do a lot of stretching. The springs were not as flexible as the Mercedes brand. I have to push the trunk a little harder to close. For an older vehicle, they are good.

fit perfect
loosen the tab on the hinge arm to and it's a snap to install

These inexpensive shocks work fine on SLK280
Took 2 people to install - these shocks were tight and needed to be compressed 1/2 inch to install on SLK280 - push REALLY hard - and they work , as good as new.
