Review of Soundcore Aerofit 2 by an average user runner.
I think I found my favourite earphones. I simply love them! And they really are a big improvement compared with the Aerofit.Out of the box you have the earphones, case, usual forbiddingly short USB C cable and a handshake with love straight from Soundcore.Let me remind you right now that these are OPEN-EAR earphones! So, don't be silly dropping comments about the fact they are not noise cancelling! Because, being able to listen to your surroundings is the main purpose of these earphones! With this being said, I simply love to have music hovering above my life while I'm doing things. It is like in the movies, when there is the protagonist doing something with an epic music playing in the background. This is how they feel like.As for any earphones' microphone, you can use it for calls as long as the environment you are in is not too loud or too windy, delivering an average sound quality but improved compared with the Aerofit. As always, don't rely on this to record your podcast or for the karaoke night. They are extremely comfortable, well balanced and lightweight, to the point I seriously forgot I was wearing them. I really like the design. They are water resistant, meaning they can be wet as long as they are not soaked in water. So, you can always properly clean them up after a hard sweaty training. Surely, being open-ear means you won’t have issues with earwax shenanigans. With this new pair, I'm glad they have sorted out the big issue that ruined the experience with the Aerofit. They have a hook shape with 4 adjustable positions which makes them really comfy to wear, also they stay still in the position you put them on. They have a good grip on the ears and they barely wobble. Really comfortable to wear for running.Yes, unfortunately with OPEN-EAR earphones you have to trade off sound quality for what is a different experience. However, despite the fact that I am an average user, I found the sound delivered to be really nice and detailed, way better than the Aerofit. They have bass, also depth, overall I particularly enjoy it. Also, the volume has been a big improvement and increased quite a bit compared with the predecessor. Indoors and outdoors you won’t have absolutely any issue in listening to music, podcasts or videos, even in noisy environments.Battery life is just extreme. If stranded on a desert island, you would still be able to die before you drain the battery out. Dying in style, listening to your favourite songs. Such an epic death! The case is lightweight and not noticeable when in the pockets.

Great Open earphones
The earphones fit well when exercising, I tend to wear for an hour or so and they are beginning to press on my ears; I also wear glasses which adds pressure to the top of the ears. They look a bit big but sound superb in a quiet library. I can hold a conversation and listen to my music. I can hear the traffic when outside so I feel safer crossing roads. I have used for a few hours now and the battery still shows as 100% on the charging case via the app. App and Bluetooth setup was the easiest I have used. The app has lots of EQ genres to choose from classic to rock, etc. And there is a customisable EQ if you need it. I bought when on offer so very pleased with value for money. The charging case is actually wireless unlike others I have tried. It charges on either of my charging pads. This is a very useful function and one I have spent along time trying to find. The earphones deserve top marks for sound, ease of use and functionality.

Very good but not excellent for my purposes
Left side stopped charging after a few weeks. The sound is good knowing it's out-of-ear type but the loudness is lacking in noisy surroundings. The ability to adjust the loop doesn't really make a big difference as it is still wobbles and is a pain to lay down on. I would have kept them for quiet times and for podcasts as they are very comfortable to wear.Edit: the left side is working now after cleaning with alcohol and waiting. Likely all caused by sweat at the gym which is a downside.

Great quality headphones.....
I am not a prolific writer of reviews, but I do feel that these are worth a mention. I'm no sound expert, I just know the sounds I like to hear which is a rich overall sound with clear treble and mid ranges and a decent bass/low range. I listen to everything from classical to pop and so far have been very pleased with the sound quality from these headphones. I also like that they are over ear which easily lets me hear what is going around me. I looked at several reviews and even considered the latest Shokz but was put off by the price difference. Connectivity and battery life have been very good so far too. I am very satisfied.

Pleasantly surprised with audio quality.
The good: the sound quality is much better than I expected (not as good as my top of the line Sure in-ear or my Beyerdynamic over the ear , but no where near their price tags either). But if you want good quality sound and the ability to be aware of your surroundings then these are very good. That does come at a slight cost through - if there is too much external sound (e.g. cars passing) then you need them to be at a high volume.Battery life seems very good. They fit really well (I was very sceptical when I first put them on) - have run, lifted weights, kettlebells and been upside down at pilates and these have saved on really well. But they are easy to catch when pulling on a hood or moving any clothing over your head.Summary: pleasantly surprised!

Great sound, comfortable fit
Excellent fit, lightweight and yet feel confident they're robust. Easy to set up, and sound quality is excellent. Had them a good few weeks now and use them constantly for work calls, Team/Zoom meetings and then through day and at night. Not once have they ran out of charge . Only improvement I'd suggest is an audible voice advising "connected" rather than a beep.
