Dave's Dark Self Tanner Sunless Tanning Lotion with Bronzer - For All Skin Types

All their products are great. This one is no exception. I recently finished my bottle of the Small Batch Reserve in Med/Dark. That was great for winter. I wanted a little darker so I ordered this. The bronzer is very nice. Gives you a pretty color right away. I'm fair skinned, but not super pale. I applied in the evening and was a little shocked by the intensity of the color on my face in the morning. I thought I went too dark. But the next day it settled right down and the color was perfect! That was on Wednesday. This is Sunday, and I'm just now thinking I need a touch up on my face. Everywhere else is still looking pretty darn good. My legs fade quicker than the rest of me, probably from daily shaving. But the fade is nice and subtle. No crackly looking skin. DO go to their website and watch the how-to videos. Especially the ones for hands and feet(the HARDEST places to get a natural looking self tan). I can't believe how good mine looked just following those tips. Great product. Great service. This is the third time I've ordered and I always get it in 2-3 days, packed up nice and tight. LOVE them. AND to address those reviews about the smell, always the smell....you will be hard pressed to find a self tanner that doesn't make you smell. But it's not the product, it's YOU and how your body reacts to the DHA. There's gonna be a smell, these are just unscented. Nice if you don't like unnecessary added ingredients. PS...I run my own spray tanning biz and I haven't spray tanned in forever because of these great products. Try them! Thanks Dave!!!

I’ve been using Famous Dave’s for almost 5 years. I love this stuff! It tans quickly - perfect for last minute beach get always when you a fast glow. It gives nice, natural color and is a good moisturizer as well. A little goes a long way. The first time I tan I use it full strength, but to keep it up I mix Famous Dave’s with body lotion. As long as you let it dry completely the lotion does not rub on clothing; however, you may find some color on your bath towel after showering the first day. I use light-color towels, and the lotion has never left a stain. I would prefer unscented, but the fragrance does not last long. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it, and mixing it with lotion helps stretch the buy. Happy summer!

Gives a very natural looking, even, beautiful deep tan! I only tan in the spring time and stay out of the sun all summer. But I do love that deep island tan! So in the summer I use a self tanner to get that look. This stuff works great and will last for over a week if you keep skin moisturized. I've previously used Banana boat but have discovered that the main ingredient, DHA is toxic and can alter DNA. Also, the synthetic tanners smell very strongly. So looking for a natural solution, I came across Famous Dave's. It works just as well as the Banana Boat deep dark tan product but is hopefully much less toxic. It's at least as dark of a shade as the Banana Boat deep dark which I love. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of its much higher price. Also, the typical self tanner scent is much less than with the drugstore bought brand. I only use it on exposed body parts, legs, arms, face, etc. to save on product, and that has been working great! Will order again.

This is by far the best tanning lotion I have found! It gives a nice dark tan with just one application. I use it through the summer to enhance areas that won't tan on me in the sun. I use it in the spring before I've been in the sun so I'm not pale . My daughter uses it to look great in her cheerleading outfit and has also used it for pageants and dances with formal gowns . The lotion has always tanned me evenly with no streaks or white spots no matter how quickly or poorly I've applied it. Even if you sweat a lot it stays nice . The only drawback is it does smell a little funky by the end of the day. However you can shower and the tan will last about a week or so. Love this product and will buy it again and again!

This is one of the best self tanners I have used I have learned when I apply it I leave it on completely for the full day and the next morning I rinse off before I reapply if I want to be a little bit darker I noticed doing this after a few trial and errors that it last a lot longer and I keep moisturized I have tried a lot of different products in the past 10 years and this one I feel by far is the best I wish the dark reserved wasn't bronzing lotion as well I would love to try that one but I love how this one bronze is you and you already have that beautiful sun kissed glow immediately after applying thank you thank you thank you! It is one thing that helped me feel somewhat better about myself during this horrible pandemic we are going through And I will continue to sales pitch it and get the word out there

This product is ok, & works fine. The few things I don't like about it is the smell. I have never smelled this kind of smell on a self tanner. Very chemical smelling at first. The second thing is the wear off of the product. It doesn't just fade, it is blotchy. Makes my skin look like I have a skin discoloration issue, & those spots take longer to come off. It does have a great brown color, but I think I'll go back to the Maui Babe self tanner. Fades perfectly & evenly every time.

I've been a Self-tanning fan ever since the 1st version, remeber QT? This stuff is horrible! Even though I'm fair I went with the Dark based upon reviews. Even so, it barely add's any color and worse when it does produce color it is only in the creases or dry areas of body -feet, elbows, etc. Please trust me this is not a product to waste your money on.

Great product ! Very good on the skin and it doesn’t rub off on clothes or anything . Well made
