Gently clean the entire area to be treated to remove any lotions or other skin care products, using soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Be sure the area is completely dry before starting the treatment.4. Press in on the power switch to turn on your Strialite. The LEDs will light up immediately. Allow 1-2 minutes for the device to reach a comfortable temperature before holding it against the skin. (You can lay it on its side during this time.)5. Holding your Strialite by its handle, apply the base directly to the treatment area. The entire panel should be in contact with the area to be treated. You should feel a gentle warmth that penetrates deep into your skin tissue during treatment; the heat should not be uncomfortable.6. Treat the desired area for 20 minutes. Keep the device on the area continuously for the entire treatment time. If the treatment session is interrupted, simply resume the treatment when you are able and complete the treatment time.7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each additional area to be treated.8. Press in on the power switch again to turn off the device, then unplug it from the AC outlet. Re-gather the cord and secure using the attached cord wrap.Note: It is normal for the skin to be slightly reddened following treatment. If the redness or Additional irritation persists for longer than 1 hour, do not resume treatments and consult a physician before resuming treatments. Zero buyers remorse!
April review - This thing is the best product I have ever purchased in my life! 20 year-old stretch marks; gone! Can’t find a trace of them even in direct sunlight!March review - I am a lighter shade of African American. I have stretch marks on both arms but I have used this device on only one arm for the past six weeks. There is absolutely no change. I am so disappointed.

Turns off too frequently, small treatable surface area, and no recent pics by the company.
The lights automatically turn off frequently which it notes may occur for safety, but this is frustrating given how often it occurs. This seems like a prototype and we may be a few versions out... it’s also quite small so the treatment area makes the above issue even that much more bothersome given how long it must be used, and the time during use waiting on it to cool down when it shuts off. No progress on the marks yet at all, but too early to say, though it seems mine may be defective given how often it doesn’t work (three times while writing this review!). Also, the fact that the company doesn’t have any recent before or after pictures is concerning given that they are based on a very small study.

No results. Too late for a refund.
I have been using this product for months now and have literally seen no result. Unfortunately, because it says that it can take over 30 days for results (conveniently the deadline on Amazon returns), I had no choice but to keep it even though it has done nothing for me but cost me hundreds of dollars.

Way too small and way too much for a red light
The other reviews are right. We don’t have stretch marks over some small surface area—they’re usually over our stomach, back cheeks, thighs, saddlebags, etc., and these are not small areas. The face of the device needs to be held to each area 20 min at a time, and from what I can see it isn’t much more than a red light device.

It really works!
I cannot say enough about this device, I LOVE it! I have had stretch marks for most of my life. As a child, my grow spurts were big, one year I grew 6 inches. I had stretch marks all over my body and was so embarrassed changing for gym class. As I grew older my weight would fluctuate, more stretch marks. I even went to a new doctor once and he asked how old my child was....what? I have not had any children. It was due to the stretch marks on my stomach.I can honestly say no more worries or embarrassment now. The Strialite has diminished the look of my stretch marks so you can barely see them. What is really nice is this is super easy to use, it is lightweight and you can watch tv and do your treatments. Just twice a week! I believe you can do more often and results are faster but I just did the 2 times a week and saw results so quickly, within the first month.If you are thinking should I get this? Do not even pause for a moment. The Strialite has changed me, taken away all of those years of embarrassment and I can finally see what it looks like to be stretch mark free!

Time taken to apply each treatment
Just got this and it's really cool. Love doing treatment myself. I wish it was bigger because it covers a small area with 35 bulbs not 45 as advertised and it takes 20 minutes on each area to treat. So if you have on stomach and sides like me it's going to take 2 days to apply each treatment or 1 full 7 -8 hours. Would review in 3 months to see if it works. That's why 3 stars. But I love the invention. I am from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.........Ok so I promised to review again. It definitely works!!! It's amazing...but it takes too long when you have a lot to treat. They should invent a belly ban or make the device larger. I have seen the lines grow lighter and significant improvement from birth stretch marks and adolescent. So the star it looses is because it needs to be bigger and faster. However its the only thing that has ever worked for me so far and I can't live without it at the moment. It shuts off when its not cool enough. You need to keep a fan on it or keep it in ac when using. There seems to be no problem there once you follow the manual. You need lots of patience. If you don't have patience and use the 8 week rule you will not see results. Hey my skin was so damaged a plastic surgeon said your scars are too deep. Strialite proved her wrong.

Easy, Painless and Pretty Effective!
Was lucky enough to get to try this before launch as a test participant. I have some bad stretch marks on my back from weight gain/loss - they are really fine - almost like cat scratches and pretty red. Used this every other night for nearly a month and i can honestly say they have faded so much! look more like wrinkle marks from my clothes now. :) It was tricky to use on my back - had to have spouse help hold it in place so maybe a strap of some kind would be helpful, but its still 100% worth it!

Not a fan
Mabey I didn’t give this enough time. It didn’t seem to get hot at all . When I opened the box I could tell that someone had purchased it before me because it was just thrown in the box . Nothing neat about how the cord was wrapped . It made me hesitant to even mess with it. Mabey this piece was messed up and that was why someone else returned it . I would say for this price it should have felt somewhat warm to touch after plugging in. I did read that your skin would be red after use . No way that would have happened with this one . Sorry even if it was a dupe im not a fan . It’s just to much money to hope for results .
