This book is just what I need. It is organized well and goes step-by-step with clear and concise explanations. I've always wondered about the things that make my house warm and lit, but particularly about how electricity is used in the technology that surrounds me. I recommended 100% and have downloaded the PDF as the author states. If you wanna understand the basics get this book.

Great book, great review. The only thing to keep in mind is that the internal quizzes etc are qr codes but everything else is as expected.

I bought this book to help me teach electronics for high school engineering. I had bought several engineering books from Amazon. But this one is by far the best I have seen. Purchasing this book gives you access to a .pdf version which was excellent for my purposes. It also has downloadable chapter quizzes and suggested hands-on activities. Not only do I rate this very highly, I am going to give a personal thank you! to the author! You made my teaching a lot easier. Glad I found this one.

I have a BSEE. I purchased the book for my daughter as a introduction to the field. She's really enjoying the book's content. She takes it everywhere she goes. Which leads to me to my only gripe. The Author mentions a PDF format of the book which can be obtained by submitting proof of purchase documentation. I've submitted such documentation but have to received the PDF. At this point I'm not holding my breath. Somewhat disappointed.

The book is prepared for a future electrical engineer. Or for someone interested in the field who has math background I am enjoying the book and learning on a subject that always interests me. The book can be very abstract at times but the author have a good list of references material if needs to be consulted
