Ten out of ten. The Unbrush is gentle and lightweight. It makes for a painless haircare experi ence.I have afro hair and found it worked most effectively when used as detangling brush during the pre-shampoo phase, when I’d misted my hair with water and applied the African Pride pre-poo treatment. The other stage was during the blow-dry phase, with a leave-in conditioner and light oil. It’s brilliant at working knots down the hair strands, particularly on the ends and mids. I also found it prevents single-strand knots during detangling. I couldn't be happier. It's definitely my go-to.Limitations - It didn't work for me as a detangling brush used with a conditioning mask, after a cleansing shampoo. My hair was far too stripped and it couldn't undo the matting that happens after a detox shampoo, even with plenty of conditioner and water. So I wouldn't recommend it for afro hair that has been wetted and shampooed, even with conditioner applied. Stick to finger detangling.For context, I have medium fine 3c to 4a type hair, which is densely packed.

Type 4 hair and this brush glides so well with my hair. You’d think because the teeth a spread wide that it won’t detangle an entire section; I kid you not I was able to brush a large section, and after I went it with my fingers and separated at every point possible and it was all detangle, even little small sections and just opening them; it fully detangles my hair. If you’re torn between this Unbrush (Plus) and the original and you have type 4 hair, please know that this is so much better. I believe the teeth may be longer and maybe more spread meaning large sections! And you know that means so much for us type 4 girlies with thick hair; getting through large sections equals less time spent during wash day. Great value for money, high quality and sturdy brush. The teeth bend so that it glides with the hair unlike a denman brush or even a tangle teezer. It’s so flexible so it doesn’t snag the hair or any knots; it doesn’t rip through, it stops at the knot. Would highly recommend.

I bought this ages ago now soz i only made a review now and I am ADDICTED its so good and it is my go-to brush now and I love it so much!!! Its so much easier to detangle my curly hair than a tangle teezer and detangles my hair in only 3 or 4 passes. It's also really easy to remove hair from it, it's literally the best brush I've ever used!!!

With my coarse hair, I have tried many detangling brushes and swore by Tangle Teezer for years, but the UNBrush is so much better for my hair, more hygienic design and much easier to clean. Detangles my hair easily, smoothly, with no pain and with minimal shedding. The bristles are more effective and good quality. Affordable and versatile for wet hair, dry hair, detangling or simply styling.

This has genuinely changed my life for the better. For context I have 4C and for a long time struggled with detangling. Using this brush and cut down the time I have spent on detangling significantly and has made my wash day process so much more enjoyable. This is the brush I wish I had when I first went natural. I still go in with the unbrush to make sure I have thoroughly detangled my hair but these are a top tier combo

This brush has finally made me willing to truly detangle my hair instead of combing it until I get tired or I feel like I've pulled too much hair out and want to stop. Very durable and can be rinsed instantly due to the dents which is why it is my go to shower brush instead of the Denman because water doesn't get trapped. I feel very little pain when using this brush as long as I use enough water while detangling (typically I like to detangle under running water). Super lightweight, my hand barely registers the weight at all.

I have bleached blonde quite frizzy hair and this is amazing. Doesn’t tug or anything, brushes so well :)

Vraiment trop bien pour les cheveux afros

I normally haaaaate the chore of brushing my hair and end up putting it up to save time but this brush makes the process effortless. It’s a little ugly tbh but it is the most comfortable paddle brush I have ever used- especially for its price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

MAGIC! Ok queens listen…. I undid my braids and I was so lazyyyy to do any untangling and I just hopped in the shower and hoped for the best. The best happened and I just can’t believe it.
