Support where needed.
With arthritis in my hips, it can be challenging getting on and off a toilet without fear of falling or shooting joint pain. This Toilet Rail gives me the needed support of something to hold onto while sitting down or getting up from the toilet.Very much in the same way you would use a Walker for support.Much less pain and the pieces are adjustable to fit many different sized toilets.Assembly was fairly straight forward and it took more time removing the rusted toilet seat bolts than putting the Rail together. Will report back in a few months with an update. But, so far so good.P. S. Although the Rail may have some wiggle, it does a good job in supporting you getting on and off the toilet.

A bit wobbly but wonderful
This was a gift for someone who had a bidet lid on her toilet and was about the only design that would fit behind it. It was super easy to install. The push and release pins at the joints make it a little wobbly, but it also made transport (read: collapsable friendly) and adjustment about as easy as one could imagine. Love it. I might even get one for myself.

Works for me on my shower seat
I bought this to use in my shower. I just had back surgery and needed something to help me get up from my seat in the shower. I do not have hand rails. This works just fine. It is a little wobbly because there is no way to attach it to the seat like with a commode, but it does work and I can raise myself up fine. I am very satisfied with it.

surprisingly solid
Once this is built - these work way better than I expected. While building them- I completely expected them to be wobbly. Once I got them secured to the toilet- they do not move an inch. They are very solid while still leaving room for a trash can, etc near the toilet. Plus- they do not impede the raising or lowering of the toilet lid in any way.I would definitely recommend these for anyone that needs some extra stability for the toilet.

A bit wobbly
The design is not as stable as other rail designs I have used. The front legs especially are somewhat wobbly. It could use some bracing.Installation however was easySo functional, but not rock solid.

Birthday gift for an 80 year old
I purchased this for my sister who celebrated her 80th birthdah! She recently spent 2 months in and out of ERs and hospitals. My husband said it was easy to install, with just a screwdriver. My sister said that even though she has bars on wall to help, she said she feels so much safer with the this product. Very well made and easy to install.

Buyer beware.
Very wobbly. Suction cups for bottom of legs would not stick to tile floor. Poor quality.
