BATOCA S6 Mini Cordless Polisher 2 Heads for Car/Motorcycles Detailing Kit

Actually, I bought this instrument not for cleaning or polishing but for sanding wood. I haven’t had it for long, but so far, I’m very happy with it. It comes with 3 cm, 2-inch, and 3-inch sanding discs, which are very convenient for different purposes. However, there are a few things I wish were better: the battery runs out relatively quickly, but the good thing is it comes with two batteries and charges really fast. Also, when holding the instrument, it’s easy to accidentally touch the up and down buttons. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied with it. I hope to receive good post-sale service and to find spare parts easily if needed in the future.

Lots of options. Works well. Does get hot around 90 deg gears, but having the option of spinning it straight is worth it; just put on the heat shield. Good for light finish sanding. Light weight and vibrations under control. I used it for distressing some kitchen cabinets. Used another osc tool sander for inside corners. Battery life and charge good.

So far I'm impressed with this polisher. The extension can be used with any size backing plate and with either the 3mm or 12mm throw DA head. The speed settings are good and the polisher, even with to the extension, seems balanced. The supply and number of pads work good and they supply a good number of them. Swapping the angle head with the straight head is easy and quick. For the negatives, I don't really like the digital speed display, you need to see it head on and can't see it at an angle. I also wish the control's were a bit higher up since I have to stop and reposition my hand to change the speeds. The battery last about 25 minutes at speeds 5 or 6 so I wish they lasted longer but they do charge in about 1 hour and they give you two. I also wish they included more microfiber pads of each size backing plate. Overall, so far I'm impressed and hope it last a long time.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this. I was hoping that it would work goob. It works great ! I love that you can change the head out, it gets into tight areas with ease. I would definitely recommend it to people who detail there vehicles.

Being cordless was a big ➕️. 2 different angles good. 3 different sizes was good. The foam pads could use a more abrasive pad. Sanding grit pads would have been much more useful for sanding the lens for fog lights and headlights. Instead I had to do those by hand with multiple grit pads. The foam pads were useful Instead with maguire plastx.

I love it! It does an amazing job and comes with everything you need to start you off.

I bought this and upon trying it for the first time, I noticed a weird noise from the motor. I contacted the company right away and sent a video so they could assess the issue. They were quick in confirming that there was indeed a problem and offered a replacement unit which was sent at no charge and arrived quickly. The communication was prompt and courteous and I only have good things to say about that level of service, which is becoming more and more rare, and about a company that stands behind their products like that. The tool itself is awesome. It’s lightweight and easy to hold and manoeuvre for those with smaller hands. I bought it primarily to restore and maintain my car’s headlights but it’s clear I’ll use it for so much more. I ordered a set of 2 inch hook & loop sanding discs of various grit from another company and they stick well to the pad holder that comes with my tool. I also love the carry case; it’s sturdy and will actually protect the contents should you drop it. The kit comes with lots of attachments that probably only Marie Kondo would be able to fit back in the zipped area without crushing everything beyond recognition. A separate container with multiple compartments is my solution and much better than fishing around in a gazillion little ziplock bags. I already own a 4.5 inch palm sander, but this tool bridges the gap nicely size wise as it comes with a 3 inch, a 2 inch & a 1 inch head, covering most small job applications I can think of as a crafty DIY person. So far I’m very pleased with it, we’ll see how well it holds up long term. I hope this helps someone.

Update: Contact the support team if you have an issue. Some vibration, the battery doesn’t last and the backing pad is already falling apart. No instructions about the hardness of each pad.

First impressions, I have not worked with it yet just opened box and tested it out. Makes a lot of noise, 2-3x louder versus the Rupes bigfoot nano. Will update review as I get to use the tool and polish stuff. Had it almost a year now. The batteries are not great, they have a very low duty cycle and will not run constantly for more than 5 minutes when trying to do scratch removal. With the 3" pads it stops every 30 seconds, cycling power button gets it going again. It runs very hot. Battery charging takes 20-30minutes so not much work gets done. Overall a useful tool for light duty and fine polishing jobs. Just not well suited for anything that requires constant use. All the pads are very short lived. Name brand ones last several jobs. These ones are basically single use. You get some good results out of it, the wheel pictured is 23 years old and polished up beautifully using this tool and pads with paint compound and polish

It’s a handy polisher for getting into some tricky contours, but the pads tear really easily and end up leaving foam shavings all over the place. Batteries are okay and last awhile but if your battery dies while you’re using it and you go swap the battery it will resume so be careful otherwise you might wreck something.
