Have been toying with buying a Henry hoover for months, this is the same as the James hoover but just branded differently. When I checked the wattage of my few years’ old Dyson cordless was shocked to fins the Dyson only 350 watts; this hoover is 650 watts! Suction incredible - puts Dyson to shame. Yes, it’s corded but with 10m cable that isn’t an issue and for £90 (I bought on offer) I would buy this again over an expensive dyson. Especially good on wooden floors; Dyson would not pick up micro-dust, or hole punch paper cuttings or even larger crumbs! This picks it all up. Suction actually too strong on carpets but you can turn it down using opening in handle. Would definitely recommend!

I've owned a Henry for years but it finally died a few weeks ago. Due to storage issues and just for ease of use I decided to get an expensive cordless instead. I should have known better! It was rubbish in comparison to my Henry and I returned ir. So I decided to go for this one which is basically a James but grey rather than blue. It's perfect. Lighter than my previous one as it doesn't have the automatic cord wind but that's not an issue. There's no boost button either but it's powerful enough without. I have long hair and four hairy cats and it copes brilliantly. A Henry in all but name and colour and it uses the same bags. A bonus for me is that all my Henry attachments fit. Much better than any other corded brand.

What a fab wee hoover (vacuum). Nuvac is an easy to use, lightweight addition to our home.(granted I'm usually the only person using him so maybe I should say great addition to my cleaning essentials!). I love that the tools and upright hose all slot into the section at the back keeping everything neat and tidy. I initially ordered additional vacuum tools as from the description Nuvac did not come with any, however, he arrived with a dusting brush and crevice hose (both fit and store neatly at the back of Nuvac). I read all the reviews before making this purchase and agree with most however I must add the yellow power cable is not an issue as I will not have Nuvac on permanent display in my home. He also arrived with 2 dust bags so no need to order more initially. I'd recommend Nuvac as an excellent value for money essential.

Good Hoover. The ‘body’ of the hoover is essentially perfect - lightweight, exceptionally powerful, big capacity, quiet, and with good cable length and management. Decent value. The whole thing is let down by cheapo tubes and vacuum head. The tubes I have don’t snug together tightly so the thing disassembles on the ‘pull’ stroke of the hoover, the carpet head design glues itself to the carpet without the brushes and is excessively high-friction with the brushes deployed and the suction reducer hole is noisy and not large enough to tame the beast of a motor. Not sure why they skimped on design on those bits after knocking it out of the park on the machine itself.

This was bought to replace my third Henry, which is a great vacuum cleaner. However two of them failed due to snapping of the connectors in the mechanism which allows the cable to be wound in (small copper contacts running in concentric brass tracks). This seems to be a weak point in the design of Henry, Hettie et al. I bought the Nuvac for three reasons: a) no moving connectors to fail as the cable just sits on top of the cleaner; b) better energy/environmental rating; c) larger capacity. I then discovered that it is also quite a bit lighter which is very helpful on stairs. Finally it was cheaper than the equivalent Henry kit - so really it was a no-brainer.

I needed a rugged cleaner to help with a complete clear out of the garage. Having used Numatic cleaners before, this was an obvious choice. It has not disappointed. Strong suction and with the option to us the extension to save banding. The power lead is long enough to reach a long way across the garage without needing to change sockets. The carry handle is fixed and can actually hold the straight metal extension in the groove. It is not too difficult to wrap the power lead within the top inset and keep it out of the way. There is also a handy lead grip that saves it being accidentally pulled out of its base. The wheels run smoothly and the unit spins around without too much of a pull on the hose. I have a cleaning business and always used Henry's but wanted a more lightweight model - this is perfect, much lighter to take up and down stairs. It has the same great suction of the Henry, I love the grey poles - they are nicer than the silver metal ones. The only difference is you have to wrap the cord yourself but I am happy to sacrifice that for the weight difference. I am going to get another one for my house it is so good

Best vacum by far for performance suction amazing forget all your overpriced top brands . I guarantee this vacum will be the best u have ever had.downside is they smell a lot but u can get air fresheners to put in vacum just buy one amazing price amazing performance great for pet hair too which is another bonus cannot recommend enough best vac by far all day .
