Do your research first, worked great for me!
You guys. For this to work, your hair must be lightest pale yellow, like a peeled banana, almost white. Not dark yellow, not orange. This will not lift your color lighter, it will deposit enough purple to counter pale yellow and leave you with an ash color (that platinum we're all looking for). If you are orange or yellow and looking to go white, you NEED to a) bleach again to get that pale yellow or b) use toner with developer for lift. Important- before you use this, shampoo your hair first but don't condition! This is very important as the hair cuticle will remain open for color deposit. Guys, if you're going to go through all the trouble of bleaching at home, scour the internet. All this info is out there. Anyways, it's on my hair right now and I'm leaving this stuff on overnight. *Update* Um well my purple shampoo has sulfates in it, which stripped the toner out pretty much immediately. So I'm switching to L'oreal's purple shampoo which is sulfate free. Virgin Snow worked great! It even toned my slightly orange ends, which I was not expecting. Five stars will buy again for maintenance and deep conditioning.

Part of my biweekly refresh
I freakin love virgin snow. I rock a platinum buzzcut and every 2 weeks after bleaching I put virgin snow on for 45 min on damp hair with a plastic cap. Pre-bleach I am a natural level 4 and it makes my hair SNOW white and not silver, grey, or lavender. I also love how it conditions my hair after bleaching. My only complaint is I wish it was a bigger container but it's still my fav.

The weakest toner of all toners.
I really want to use less harmful and vegan toner after bleaching my hair for the first time. I started to buy this product and desperately hope this product will neutralize brassy tones in my hair after bleaching it with flash lightning 30 volume bleach kit. After bleaching, I have orange hair on top of my head and yellow on my side of head, too. I immediately applied almost all of Virgin Snow on my short hair after washing bleach out of my hair and cool blow-drying it to be safe than sorry. It was in my hair covered with shower cap for 2 hours. Finally, I washed Virgin Snow out of my hair to see there is no result at all. I was really upset because I wasted money on ripped off product that shows NO result. I'm currently using L'oreal EverPure Pure shampoo and conditioner to tone it until both of its ran out then I will bleach my hair with wella products.

Disappointed with results
Turned parts of my hair purple and still had some yellow parts. I have very short hair and used all of it so I know it was saturated well enough. Used cold water and plastic bag. Disappointed.

Great toner if it works for you
Everyone's hair is different, so you cannot judge by someone else's experience. My hair is dark brown and I bleached it with mani panic flash lightening 40 volume and it made my hair very white in a short amount of time (about an hour). I used the toner but did not leave it in long enough (only thirty minutes.). The second time I bleached my hair, it came out snow white with slightly yellow highlights in some areas. The toner worked fine after leaving it on for an hour. My hair is very very very short and very strong, so the bleaching process did nothing to harm my hair, which is soft and silky after having been bleached twice. Of course, I also use argan oil on it between bleachings. Sometimes I use olive oil on my hair and apply heat. I love my hair and take good care of it, but I did not choose this product because of anyone else's review. I chose it based on my gut instinct, which is what most people should do. To rely on anyone else's review is like assuming that everyone has the same hair--NOT.

My Review for Virgin Snow
I started with natural white roots (about 1/2") with the rest of my hair at a level 10 platinum, which had been covered with a rose gold fashion color. The fashion color was very faded to a slight goldish tint that I wanted to cool down. I tried a purple shampoo on it, but my hair is so light that it actually picked up the purplish tone on the ends. Yuck, but using a detox shampoo washed out that putrid ashy-purplish color. So I knew I needed to use a toner that was not at all strong and would not stain. Manic Panic Virgin Snow (which is a light blue-purple) to the rescue! After shampooing my hair and letting it completely dry I scooped out the Virgin Snow and applied it to my hair, making sure every strand was well-coated. I left the it in for 25 minutes, then rinsed it out. The Manic Panic had entirely covered the pale-gold tone and my hair was blonde, but a bit on the ashy-grey side, so I know that next time I will leave Virgin Snow on for only about 12 minutes. Since the initial application I have washed my hair three times. It's a pretty blonde, although I think after the next (4th) shampoo it'll be just right. My biggest tip for getting the best use out of Manic Panic Virgin Snow: Your hair must be up to a FULL, entire level 10, very pale yellow, and needing only a bit of toning to make it a true white.

Really pleased
I'm not that familiar with toner, wasn't even sure what it did. I had bleached 3 times, but it came out more orange than I wanted, so I put some of this toner on it, for only about 25 minutes. It was close to white afterwards, perfect to throw on some rose gold the next day. The photo is what is looked like after the toner.

Virgin Snow toner didn't damage hair, but didn't work
First off let me say that IN GENERAL I love manic panic. I've used their Vampire Red and After Midnight Blue amongst others with no problem whatsoever. But the Virgin Snow toner just simply did not do ANYTHING, which for over 10 bucks was very frustrating. I made sure my hair was a VERY light blonde, in good enough condition, clean enough, etc-I mean basically I've been dyeing my hair long enough to know what I'm doing-and after washing the stuff out my hair still had the same amount of yellow as before. I'm sure this works fine for some people, and at least it didn't damage my hair. Honestly though I've had more extreme and overall better results so far with using Clairol Shimmer Lights conditioner to tone the yellow out.

I can't remember if it smelled and my scalp felt fine. Hair felt as soft as one's could after ...
Make sure you do your research on toners, as this didn't provide the colour correction I was looking for. As someone else mentioned, this will cancel yellow well, but does nothing for orange tones. I left it in my hair for probably 3 hours. I can't remember if it smelled and my scalp felt fine. Hair felt as soft as one's could after a home bleach. My hair is just past my shoulders and one jar barely covered - I'd probably go for two next time. I loved it for how non-damaging it was. The correction fail was my fault :P
