Clairol Nice'n Easy Perfect 10 Permanent Hair Dye, 5A Medium Ash Brown Hair Color, Pack of 2

Love the color, rich dark brown to black. I love this product it’s gentle on the scalp. Please don’t discontinue this product I’ll just die.

I love this hair color and brand. You can literally color your hair 10 minutes and hop in the shower and have a beautiful color and it’s easy to apply. I love the time it saves me.

I’m 50 years old and if I didn’t use this product I would have gray hair and I’m not having that so I buy this. That is my way of saying this product works great and covers up all of my grays. I have short hair so one tube is more than enough to cover all of my hair. This color closely resembles my hair color so no one is the wiser to my cover up. I only have to color my hair every 3 months. In my opinion, this is a must have if you don’t want to go gray.

Fast and easy to use. I mix small portion in separate bowl for gray roots touchups, I can get three uses out of one box. Medium ash brown is beautiful 👍🏼❤️

I JUST finished using this product so I cant comment on how long it lasts... that being said, my hair was semi dyed red but was faded (pink) I picked this ash color to help neutralize the red color and get it back to my original color (dark brown) I have shoulder length, thick hair. I was hoping with the comb applicator and the 10 minute wait time I could do this quickly. Couple things I noticed off the bat... most box dye once everything is mixed the bottle is pretty full. You have a good amount in there. This dye, once mixed was a little less than half way full. I followed the directions when it came to application and the comb applicator just sucked butt. I got more on my towel and floor than in my hair. After 2 or 3 times of this I said screw it and used the nozzle applicator. The dye seemed to not want to spread very evenly it just kinda soaked into my hair. But I'm going to chalk that up to my hair being pretty dry from it being dyed red 3 or 4 times. And they're not kidding... done in 10 minutes lol I had half of my hair done and working on the other side when I noticed the done side was ready to be rinsed lol It DID cover up my red!! although.... I can still see a red hugh shining though when light is shown on it. Probably needs another application in 3 weeks. I would still recommend. But honestly, I'll probably find a different product for my next application.

Clairol has obviously changed the formula and the color is completely different now. SO MUCH LIGHTER! It no longer even comes close to the color on the box. I have purchased "Perfect 10 Medium Ash Brown" ever since it was 1st sold many years ago, so I guarantee I have used this same product over 100 times. I used to love the color and would even receive complements from strangers on the beautiful shade of my hair. The last 2 boxes I have used have turned my hair a mousey light brown, not the rich medium brown it is supposed to be. (BTW, there was no mousse or other product on my hair, nothing to alter the color.) The 1st time I thought the wrong tube of a light brown shade must have accidently been put in the box, but I colored it today and it is the same mousey light brown.(Even after mixing the color and developer together the liquid looked different. Formerly it looked dark with a purplish cast. Now it looks light brown with a greenish cast.) I am SO disappointed as I loved the original color. What to do?? (They don't make a dark ash brown or I would try that.) Clairol, PLEASE go back to the original formula for this color!

I chose the color 5A: Medium Ash Brown and loved the results for the first couple of days; the color was lovely and was the cool-toned brown I was looking for. I liked that it only took ten minutes or so to leave on, and the stains weren't too difficult to scrub off. Those are the positives. Now, I'll talk about the negatives. The application process wasn't the greatest; the applicator comb that applied the dye pulled at my hair, and the scent of the dye was pretty strong. I mentioned that I loved the color for the first couple of days. I haven't washed my hair very often since I dyed my hair and already the color seems to be fading badly. I'm not sure if it's my hair, or if it's because I colored over a previous Clairol dye, or what. My natural hair color is a light brown, so I have strands peeking through. It doesn't look terrible, at least.

L'application est très facile, l'embout peigne applique généreusement la coloration c'est vraiment plus efficace et rapide que le bec applicateur et un pinceaux. Seulement 10 minute d'attente, juste le temps de nettoyer et ranger le matériel. Une fois rincés mes cheveux sentent très bon, aucune odeur de produit chimique. Couleur exactement comme sur la boîte. Je vais racheter!

I’ve used the 10 minute root touch up for years and now only use the 10 minute permanent colour! No more waiting 35-40 minutes with dye covering my waist length hair and the colour is always even, lovely shade of dark brown and isn’t distressed by the actual dye process. The extra large comb applicator helps to work the dye throughout so all the hair is covered and it rinses out easily. No expensive trips to the hairdresser and the colour itself lasts a few months before even a root touch up is required. Definitely worth the price and ease of doing this at my own convenience as well as at home delivery service.

1st time using this brand and im impressed!A bit darker than a medium brown.. but im sure it will fade a bit with a few washes. Really liked the smell too.. some box dyes are putrid

I'm allergic to PPD now, so I can't use this dye anymore, but this was my absolute favourite hair dye for over a decade, it was the only thing to cover my stubborn grays and works in 10 min!

Good product….but the price has suddenly gone up drastically…..why?
