High quality Brita as always
Bottom line is these are good filters. Not like morally good but they function well. I bought them because the light on the front of my faucet-mount filter was blinking red. I figured the replaceable cartridge in there was past life. I buy these and install one - by the way, because the design of the filter and cartridge is very good, installation is very easy - so I installed one of these new ones and ran water thru it for five minutes per video instructions. That's a lot of water to collect and mess with your friends & loved ones with. The light was still blinking red. I double checked install, which again was very straightforward (almost difficult to get wrong). The light, however, still blinked red. So I grabbed the other new filter out of this two-pack and installed it. Five minutes worth of water later, red remained rhythmically aglow. I just couldn't believe it. Then, like a maroon signal pulsing in my mind's eye, it hit me. I took out the cartridge and looked at the area where the cartridge installed onto the mating part of the faucet mount. It was kinda dirty. Gross, right? I lathered a gentle soap onto my sponge and scrubbed, careful to avoid using the abrasive green side. As the mount looked up at me, glistening in an almost thankful way, I squeezed suds on the cartridge install-nipple down (so nothing goes into the filter), rinsed and re-installed. The light then blinked green three times after a satisfying click. I felt as a Roman, bending the water to my wishes. While this story is true, obv this review is written with (hopefully some) humor. But I'm serious the replacement filters are as high quality as all other Brita products.

Water filtration at its finest
I purchased these filters and we're very happy with them I also bought the Brita sink attachment and for my kitchen sink sink attachment water filter system it allows you have the water come out without being filtered in a regular jet stream or spray and it also allows you to flip a switch and have the water come out filtered very useful how can you complain about something that takes impurities out of your water

Amazon wins over CVS on price, and the Brita filters are easily the best.
New York City has exceptionally clean and tasty tap water, but running the tap through this filter makes it so much cleaner. When it comes to consuming pollutants, you can't be too safe. That being said though, filtering all your water is quite expensive especially when you have a stay-at-home spouse like I do (and my wife is from Japan, which has the highest per capita water consumption in the world). At CVS these filters cost over $22 each (that's one per package!); that's almost prohibitively expensive particularly since we use ours for literally all the water we consume for drinking and cooking (not cleaning of course), so we go through probably 1 filter per month where many might go through 2 or 3 per year. Simple math: 12*22=$264 per year. On Amazon it's $25 for two, so we pay $150 per year, or a savings of $114. Truth be told, my wife might be changing out filters faster than that because the flow dwindles down to a trickle before the indicator on the faucet attachment indicates it's time to change, so we save exponentially more money by buying them from Amazon (with free shipping due to my Amazon Prime membership). Home economics aside, I am just astounded by how well this filtration system works. The water is, without exaggeration, crystal clear. New York City tap water is already purer than spring water, and yet we can see and taste the difference between the tap water and filtered even if it does little more than remove chlorine. I would still be fine with straight tap water except that my wife has horrible allergies. And while the water wont trigger an allergic reaction, she is noticably healthier since we started using the Brita tap filter system. BOTTOM LINE: Our Brita filters are now a household essential. We've used other brands, but none come even close to providing the level of filtering that these do. And buying these on Amazon has provided us a great savings.

Simple Installation, Better Tasting Water, Long Life, Good Value
These Brita filters get the job done. The price is reasonable compared to local store prices, and it is at least a month before I need to replace the filters on my kitchen faucet. Both members of my household drink large quantities of water, and we do a lot of cooking that requires use of the filter. I'm usually surprised at how long a filter lasts. Installation is simple, and removing the old filter and putting in a new one takes under a minute. The unfiltered water in my house has a chemical taste and sometimes an odor, and both of these are removed by the filter. The lifespan gauge on the filter seems accurate, such that my water quality stays high during the designated period, yet a noticeable drop occurs when the indicator says the filter is going to expire. The accuracy makes me feel like I'm getting good value for my money.

I wouldn't use tap water without it.
Makes my tap water taste much better. It removes the bleach and chlorine used to treat it.
