The Body

If you have not read “The Body” your repertoire of literature is missing a major piece of the proverbial puzzle. I love this story and periodically read it again just to I find myself lost in the joys of my own boyhood. It is and always will be a masterpiece.

Book was in great shape. Have not read it yet.

Great book! Never a complaint with a Stephen king book.

Saw the movie "Stand by Me " and realized it is a Stephen king book. Downloaded it on kindle and read the whole book before going to bed.Characters were great . As well as the story .

Good story. The book is around 300 pages easy read

Not King's best work. Rambles on with too many characters and TMI, much of which is uninteresting and relatable only if you lived in the 50s. The rest is stereotypical—kids just being kids, doing goofy stuff, getting into mischief. Been there done that. Nothing really fresh or new. The story seems to wander in search of itself. The book within a book stuff is tiring and unnecessary, adding little to the overall story. Infused with King’s inimitable style. So worth a quick read.
