SEIKO PROSPEX 1968 Professional Divers Modern Design Men's Mechanical Watch SBDC063 (Japan Domestic Genuine Products)

I could not be more pleased with the quality and appearance of this watch. The seller, Pacific Timezone, shipped it factory new with all tags (including the retailer tag for the Japanese market that Seiko puts on the watch from the factory for domestic Japanese sales.)Pros:1. Sapphire crystal: the less expensive Seiko divers do not have a sapphire crystal.2. Higher quality mechanism: unlike many less expensive Seiko diver watches, this mechanism can be hand wound in addition to winding automatically with movement, and the seconds hand stops when setting the time so you can set it precisely.3. Very comfortable, high-quality band: The included rubber diving watch strap is very comfortable and much nicer than the similar looking straps on the cheaper Seiko diving watches.4. Scratch-proof coating: Not only is the case solid, high-quality stainless steel--it has an invisible coating that makes it extremely scratch resistant. A big upgrade from the cheaper Seiko dive watches.5. Coin edge bezel: the bezel (the ring that turns) is a much cleaner and more attractive design than the bezels on the cheaper Seiko dive watches.6. Beautiful blue bezel insert: The blue on the bezel insert is very attractive. It is a deep blue that can be a dark midnight blue in some lighting and a lustrous cobalt blue in outdoor lighting. It just looks terrific and subtle and distinctive.Cons:1. The screw-down crown on mine was slightly rough turning to screw it down right out of the box. Compared to other Seiko divers I have, this one needs a bit of wearing in on the screw-down crown I think. It's just this individual watch rather than something common to this model. I expect it will smooth out in a week or two. It's not bad, just noticeably a bit rougher than my other Seikos.Otherwise the watch is perfect. If i only bought one Seiko diver it would be this one (short of buying one of their top-end $4,500 divers with the spring drive mechanism, which is more than I would want to spend).

Love the look, size and wearability of this watch. It is really stunning. Only two minor complaints: (1) The narrow 20mm lug width makes replacement straps look a a little thin in comparison with the watch size, and (2) the stainless steel keeper on the included rubber strap does not stay in place. It needs a protrusion on the underside to latch into the strap like the all-rubber version. Neither a deal-killer and I highly recommend this watch.

I'm really enjoying this watch. It's a clean design, with a bezel that is subtle in low light, but really gets set off in sunlight. The 6R15 is running at about +10 sec per day, but should get better with time.

I like that this watch is accurate. I have had several lower level Seikos in the $350 range and they all seemed to gain or lose 5 minutes when I finally noticed. I am a plumber and I wear this watch every day. I bought the Rubber Band version to put a Strapsco Retro Razor then a Jubilee bracelet on them. The only small complaint I have about the watch is the lack of crown guards. Sometimes I unwind the crown slightly after a full day of work. It’s a tool watch. The sapphire has not one scratch on it.

ブレスをドイツ製に変えて、見た目的には満足。しかし、1日で1分以上狂うというのは、どういう事！？ちょっとうっかりしてるとすぐ5分くらいズレてる。持ってるオメガとか、1週間で1秒とかなのに。時計の時間が正確じゃないとダメな人には向いてませんね。

以前の、ダイバー初期型に、良く似ていて、使いやすい、磁気の、事は、敏感な、構造なのかな？と、印象を、受けた。SBDX019 が、そのもの、ずばりだが、値段が、高過ぎる。
